"So are we all set," Karin asked as she took the last swig of my tea.

"Yes...we are," I glared at her as she threw my can away.

"What?"

"That was my tea."

"Oh...you'll be alright. You Hyuga are strong," she smirked sarcastically.

"Whatever, let's go. We're already a tad bit behind."

"How so? We said that wed leave a day after team Kakashi..."

"Well...yeah, but we still had to leave before Team Guy," I said.

"Wait Neji and his team left already?!"

As I opened my mouth to speak, Neji opened my door abruptly.

"I'm leaving on a mission...I shall be home shortly. Do not impede on anyone's personal information, and don't do anything foolish," he said sharply.

"Neji...we talked about this already," I warned.

"Right," he stiffened as he walked towards me.

He placed two of his fingers against my forehead lightly, as he smiled down at me.

"I'll see you when I return."

"Okay," I grinned.

"Where's my kiss goodbye," Karin cooed.

Neji ignored her as he exited my room.

"You're so gross," I hissed.

"What? He already knows the deal...so what's wrong with us being open to each other," she laughed.

"Can we just go?! I don't want to hear about your unrequited love for my brother!"

Karin sighed heavily as we dashed through the trees.

"Kenji on your mind," I smirked.

"Funny," she said sarcastically.

"Hey, what happens between you two isn't any of my business...as long as he doesn't make you act all weak in the knees while we're on missions," I smiled.

"Like Sakura?"

"Okay, we didn't need an example!"

"True...but you know it's true," she chuckled.

"I bet you wouldn't tell her this to her face," I teased.

"Uh, I would actually."

"Sakura would put a hole in you stomach..."

"Not without taking on some heavy damage herself. I'm quite confident in my skills, and I don't back down from a fight...even if that means I lose in the end."

"That is true...there hasn't ever been a point in time when you ran away from a fight...except when you, Yuko, and I were chased by that wolf pack by the river," I smiled as I recalled that night.

"We were kids then! What'd you expect?!"

"That's true...hey is that Kankuro and Yuko at the village gates," I asked as we entered the desert of the hidden sand.

"It is! I wonder what's going on," Karin said.

"Yuko!"

Yuko's eyes went wide with shock as we landed in front of Kankuro and her.

"Karin, Himenei...what are you two doing here," she stammered.

"That's confidential...where is team Kakashi?"
