Chapter Fifteen

*At Hotel*
Taylor POV

I was pacing around the room waiting for any sign of them, a text, a call, anything. Then there was a knock on the door I rushed to it to find two soaking wet teenagers who looked like they had just been on the roller coaster of a life time.
"Shay where in the hell have you been, no call no text no nothing I thought you were dead." I said with tears in my eyes.
"I'm okay and I forgot my phone. Hayes was no help either he was playing piano tiles the whole way there so his phone was dead." She said
"I'm glad you're okay but where did you two go and what happened while you were there?"Nash butted in
"Well first I started driving because I trust absolutely no one with my Jeep. Then we drove to Daytona Beach and took surfing lessons, then we ate lunch and then got back in the water then we were walking on the board walk and went to the carnival and rode some rides then it started to get dark out so we went night surfing and then here we are." Shay explained
"You guys didn't do anything did you?" I questioned. Shay saw my eyes filled with anger. Hayes and her just turned to each other and laughed.
"We are best friends nothing more nothing less, nothing happened." Hayes said.
"I'm hungry I'm going to go get something." Shay said starting to walk out the door.
"I'll come too." Hayes announced they walked out and started talking we heard them say "I can't believe they don't trust us and they think something happened" I heard Shay say "It seems that they can't accept the fact that we are friends." Hayes says. I feel really bad now they think that we don't trust them.

Shay POV

Hayes and I reached the elevator.
"I can't believe that worked!" He said hugging me.
"Well if it weren't for your amazing acting skills and genius idea to make them think we were mad for them not trusting us." I said
"Also for your lying abilities and quick thinking of where we were." He said tucking a loose piece of hair behind my ear. We leaned in and then the elevator door opened to reveal a very shocked Matt Aaron Jo and Carter
"Okay it's not what it looks like." Hayes said
"Oh really cause it looks like you are kissing Taylor's sister that he forbid you to do anything with." Aaron said angrily
"Look please just don't tell Taylor we are going to tell him tomorrow okay and I don't want him to hear it from anybody else. Okay?" I said
"Okay." They all said and got in the elevator.
Hayes and I walked to in-out burger and sat there talking
"Are we really going to tell them tomorrow?" Hayes asked
"We are gonna have to four other people already know plus they were going to find out sooner or later." I said
"I guess you have a point. But how do you think Tay will react?"
"I don't know we'll have to wait and see I guess." I said
