You downed another glass of orange juice, furrowing your eyebrows as you heard more noise coming from next door. You walked to the window in the living room, pushed the curtain aside, and looked outside to see people coming in and out of the house next door again. You let the curtain fall back, and stepped away from the window. You knew that you would have to get over the twins soon, but it was still bugging you. Nothing worried you more than the fact that they were so far away, and it would be so much easier for them to forget about you.

Shaking the thought out of your head, you walked back to the kitchen to pour yourself yet another glass of orange juice when you were interrupted by a knocking on the door. You paused for a second, feeling a rush run through your body. You hadn't heard that sound since the twins came over to tell you the heartbreaking news.

A shiver sped up your spine as you opened the door. With your mother still asleep upstairs, you weren't expecting anybody. "Hello?" You said to the person at your door.

It was a boy, and instantly you recognized him. He was the one you saw from your bedroom a couple nights ago. "Um, hi?" He smiled, extending a hand to you. "I'm Blake."

You nodded, shaking his hand and replying, "I'm (Y/N)."

"I'm moving in next door, and I just wanted to stop by..."

"Yes, I've heard. How's the move coming along?" You asked, trying to sound interested.

"Pretty well, actually. So, I understand you were really close to the people who used to live there?"

You stood there, a bit dumbfounded. "Uh, yea...yea I was." You were absolutely clueless as to how he knew that.

"Hey, I know what's it like to lose a friend like that. I'm sorry that it happened to you. Maybe we can make up for each other's losses, right?" He said, nervously scratching the back of his neck, reminding you of Niall. That was something Niall would do when he was nervous about something, and whenever he would do it, you always knew to change the subject.

You got a bit teary-eyed at the reminder. You sniffled and wiped at your eyes.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to-" Blake began, but you interrupted him.

"No, it's just-that neck thing you just did...my friend Niall used to do that. He was one of the boys that lived next door," You said to him, your voice cracking.

"Oh," Blake paused. "How many boys were there?"

You chuckled. "Just two. Niall and James; they're twins."

Blake nodded and you cleared your throat. "Um, it's been nice talking to you, but I've got some stuff to do...so..."

"Right. We'll be all moved in by tonight, so why don't you come over tomorrow and we can get to know each other better? I mean, we are going to be living next to each other," He smiled.

You smiled as well, "Sure."

"Alright. Well, bye for now."

"Bye for now."

You slowly shut the door, leaning against it and taking a deep breath. You'd gone for a couple days without talking to the twins, and you couldn't take it any longer. You needed to hear their voices. The fact that they hadn't bothered to contact you either in the past few days was really making you nervous also.

You literally ran for a phone and dialed their number, something you had memorized since the day they moved back to Ireland. Eager to talk to them, you tapped your foot on the ground as the phone continued to ring.

"Pick up, pick up," You chanted in your head. Your stomach fluttered as the phone stopped ringing, only to hear the recording of the message machine.

"Hey there! It's Niall and James. We're too busy being awesome right now, so leave us a message and we'll get back to you as soon as we can! Byeeee!!"

You hung up the phone, feeling your heart hurt...literally. Every single time that you dialed that number, there was always an answer. Either from James or Niall, or their mother. But either way, you were never turned down. Not until today.

*Meanwhile, in Ireland...*

"It's (Y/N)!" Niall shouted excitedly, reaching to answer the ringing phone.

"Niall," James' sharp tone interrupted him. "Just let it ring."

"W-what?" Niall questioned, looking at his twin as if he had just said something in a foreign language.

"We talked about this, remember? It's for the best," James said, taking Niall's hand off of the still ringing phone.

"James, I haven't heard her voice for four days! I think it's okay if we have a little phone conversation," Niall argued.

James shook his head, and repeated himself, "It's for the best." James reached for the phone and pressed the 'decline' button, sending it straight to the voice mail.

**WOO HOO PART 4! It's short, I know [oops]. I wanted to make it suspenseful, so I felt like that was a good place to end it!

And, actually, I think this will be the end of The Horan Twins mini series.
