Valentine's Day

You were sitting alone in your house, watching cars pass outside. Today was Valentine's Day, and your boyfriend, Niall, was busy with interviews and such. So, he couldn't make it. You were saddened by this, but you understood completely. He was a busy person.

Your phone started ringing, so you made your way over to answer it. You saw Niall's name light up the screen. You smiled, answering.

"Hey!" You said.

"Hi, love. Happy Valentine's Day!" He exclaimed through the phone.

"Same to you," You said.

He took a quick breath. "Well, I've got to get going. But I wanted to remind you that I love you," He said.

You hung up after saying goodbye. You felt so lonely. You couldn't keep your mind off the fact that Niall wasn't there to celebrate your first Valentine's Day together.

As the day went on, you kept yourself busy with things like cooking or watching TV. It was about 3:00 when you heard a knock at the door. You rushed to answer it, wondering who was visiting you.

You jumped with excitement when you saw Nialler standing there. He smiled at you.

"Sorry I couldn't be here earlier. I had some stuff to arrange," He said.

You threw yourself in his arms. "I thought you were busy!"

"How could I miss Valentine's Day with my princess?" He smiled, kissing your forehead.

You guys eventually made it into your house, and he handed you a bouquet of flowers that he must have been hiding somewhere. You put them in a vase, and they fit perfectly.

You two spent the rest of the day together, and when it was about time to eat, he took you to a fancy restaurant.

In the end, you knew you had a perfect boyfriend and a perfect Valentine's Day.

"I love you," You said.

"And I love you," Niall smiled, kissing your forehead again.
