A/N: just to say for those who got confused in the last chapter about Aj getting upset when his mum did not give a magic kiss to Damon was because in his mind (Aj's mind) he know's his mum's a doctor and saves people so if she does not complete the 'routine' of healing than it doesn't work, she hasn't saved them. That's why he was persistent that she kissed Damon better so that he could be fixed completely. Hope this clears the air! xoxox
Damon Mortimer: ( as requested!)
I was all giddy today and very excited. It was finally Thursday and I couldn't be any happier.
I was bouncing my leg in nerves during a meeting with my dad and brothers. My father was talking to us while I just looked around the office not really paying much attention. Kendyn was taking notes, Wolf looked like he was about to kill someone, Alex as per usual was texting away on his phone and Carter looked calm and collected listening carefully to my dad.
"I'm sorry Damon but is what I am saying not interesting enough to you. I know this does not concern you directly but this is a family business." My father snapped gaining my attention.
I looked like a deer caught in headlights. I did not know how to respond but Kendyn didn't shy away.
"He's got a date and is all nervous about it like back in high school." Kendyn teased.
"Shut up I mumbled." and punched his arm.
Wolf stood up angry and dad just rolled his eyes.
"Dude seriously? You can't fuckin focus for one minute and help me out? My wife lives in fear and she probably hates me and you are just thinking about some random chick that you want to bang! I'm on a manhunt I need everyone's head in the game." Wolf yelled at my face and stormed out of the room.
"Wolfgang come back!" Dad called after him with no success.
"That's why we let mum in on the meetings." Alexander sassed and left the room as well.
Kendyn was trying not to laugh because this was a serious situation but he's my best friend and loves to see me in trouble.
"Damon, get your shit together and go on that date. Don't forget to call your mother afterwards if not she will talk my ear off about it and I do not want to deal with that right now. Carter, you know what to do. Meeting dismissed." dad stood up and collected his papers and patted my back and shook hands with Ken and left.
"Dude that was epic. The look on your face when your dad caught you daydreaming about that doctor you like. Priceless." Kendyn laughed once everyone else left the room.
"Shut up Kendyn. I didn't tease you when you started dating my little sister, in fact, I was very supportive of both of you together." I shoved him again.
"Yeah, after you beat me up. This is my payback." He shoved me back.
"Go, I've got it handled. Don't worry about Wolf getting mad, Carter sent me a text and he is taking care of him and calming him down." I nodded and went back to my office after signing some papers for new shipments coming in.
"Thanks, Ken. Tell my sister I send my love and I'm taking the boys out Friday night for pizza remember." I sat in my chair and organized the files for the meeting taking the notes that ken wrote.
"Yes, I remember. Thanks for taking the Lloyd and Luke out for dinner. Rose just need a bit of time to rest, with this new baby coming, with the whole Freyah and Wolf situation, it gets too much you know?" he confessed.
"I know, I'm here to help you, whenever and in reason of course," I added.
Before long I was making my way to the hospital and pick my Emrys. I picked up some flowers for her and walked into the hospital.
Dona, the secretary, smiled my way and told me where I would find Emrys. To my surprise, she decided to run the ER since she arrived. She is just an amazing woman and keeps on amazing me. Doctor Salvatore keeps giving me good reviews on her and is loving the energy and idea Emrys brings. Each evening I have been calling her and asking her how her day was and how Aj was and all that.
I walked over to the ER thinking that Emrys would be there waiting for me or at least ready to go but it was the complete opposite. She was running around barking orders left and right. Her hair flying all over the place as she was taking care of patients. I stood at the side out of the way.
Once it was a little less hectic her eyes finally met mine, recognition crossing them. She walked over to me and removed her latex gloves.
"Damon, oh my gosh I forgot about today." she apologized.
"I should have known that you were going to be a busy bee, Sunshine." I handed her over the bouquet of flowers.
"Thank you." she smiled lightly.
"Dr Belle!" someone screamed from somewhere in the room.
"I'm so sorry," she said again and handed me back the flowers.
"Just wait for me and I promise we will go for food because I'm starving. But I just need to deal with this car crash fiasco. I have an op now and I should be free. I'm sorry about this." she kissed my cheek and ran off.

I waited for her to come out, I was lucky that the weather was on my side for once as it was not that cold and not raining. I was still clutching in my hands the flowers and bounced my leg again.
"Hey." she waved coming up to me all wrapped up in her coat, her pink scrubs and scarf looking beautiful even if exhaustion was clear in her blue eyes.
"Hi," I said back moving a little on the bench I was so that she could sit next to me.
"I lost my patient." she started off.
I wrapped my arm around her and let her lean her head against my shoulder not finding the right words to tell her, the silence was enough.
"I'm so sorry we had to wait for me," she spoke up after the silence of her confession.
I just squeezed her tighter to my side and let her rest her sleepy head there.
"I didn't mind waiting for you. I promised you a date and I said whatever you wanted to do. You save lives, I can't be mad at you for doing that my Sunshine." I kissed the top of her head.
"All I want is to cuddle in bed with my son while watching a movie that I will possibly fall asleep in front off, have a nice long bath which will be hard because I don't have one and eat as much junk food as humanly possible." she piped up snuggling closer to me unconscious on her movements.
"Junk food is easy we can do that now before we have to get Aj if you want a bath you can always come hang at mine and chill there. I won't peep." I joked which made her smile.
"Sounds like heaven. I could kill for a burger right now."
We drove around picking up all the junk food we could get our hands on ranging from Taco Bell to In and Out.
We sat and ate most of it in the car before it got cold and that was something I found very difficult when she started moaning at each mouthful she took of her food.
I drove us to my penthouse so that she could relax in a nice bubble bath.
"This is where you live?" her eyes widened once the elevator stopped in the penthouse.
I owned the building and got myself a private elevator that leads me straight into my living room, the whole top two floors of the building where mine to live in.
"This is all mine," I stated proudly taking her coat off her shoulders.
"Wow, that's all I got to say. If I would have know that working illegally would have brought me that much money I would have never left," she mumbled the last part but I still caught onto it.
"What?" I asked playing dumb.
She snapped out of whatever trance she was in and answer a quick 'nothing' before walking around to get used to her surroundings.
I let her roam freely as she munched on the rest of the fries and went to run her a hot bath adding the bubbles that I use when I have Lloyd and Luke here.
"Your bath is ready Rhys!" I yelled wiping my hand dry from the water.
She came in ever so discreetly her long blond hair out of the style it was in letting her locks flow freely.
"Rhys?" she asked crossing her arms over her chest.
"Yeah, everyone must call you Em or something like that, I don't like doing what others do so thus Rhys," I argued.
A small smile tugged at her lips as she walked closer to me and slipped her shoes off. She used my shoulder as an anchor to take her shoes off. The simplest of touches was already driving me mad, just her presence was enough to make all the wrongs feel right.
Once she took them off, she then proceeded to lift the top of her scrubs revealing a little skin that drew me in even more than I already was. She still had a singlet type thing on with her bra that was showing a little and the bottom of her scrubs. She looked over her shoulder a glint of naughtiness shimmering in her smile.
"Do you mind?" she spoke turning around so that I had a view of the front of her.
"No I don't, please continue." I crossed my arms over my chest and took a seat at the edge of the bath.
She rolled her eyes and walked over to me and started tugging at my arm to make me leave the room, with no luck. After a while of trying she stopped and huffed.
"Fine, if want to stay you can, but I like to play dirty," she smirked and pushed me in the tub taking me by surprise.
When I resurfaced she was laughing in hysterics and taking one look at how I looked only made her laugh harder. Good thing I had a huge tub that could comfortably greet four people in.
"Oh, you are definitely getting it now," I growled and grabbed her hips while she was still laughing and dragged her in with me.
She gasped as her body hit the water.
"DAMON!" she screeched and wiped away from her face her now wet hair.
My eyes drifted down her body to see that the singlet she was wearing was now transparent and glued to each curve and crevice showing off her black bra. Her eyes followed my movements, both our breaths laboured from being thrown in the water. She tried to get out knowing that these stares were starting to get intense but luck was not in her favour as she slipped and landed on my lap straddling me in the process. The impact made me hiss and made her brace herself gripping firmly onto my shoulders.
I looked up to see her already looking at me, neither of us moving an inch, our breaths mingling together. I started to lean in as so did she, the bubbled started to surround us again. Her lips were a light shade of pink, plump and enticing. My fingers gently trailed up her back leaving a path of goosebumps on her skin, my other hand gripping her hip to keep her steady.
Without another moment to waste, I crashed my lips onto hers, starting the kiss of slow and tender. She let her hands roam down my back, grinding closer to me as the kiss grew. The friction of my jeans against her scrubs was a slow torture but a necessary one. I pulled back and started kissing down her neck making her gasp at the initial contact on my lips on her skin.
Her hands were now in my hair, each time I went lower she would grab a fistful of it and bring herself impossibly closer. I got rid of my wet and sticky t-shirt as well as hers and continued my assault going back to her lips every so often. She softly moaned when our tongues came in contact with each other, which only stirred me more and want her more.
Sadly all good things must come to an end, she started shivering but not because of what I was doing but because the water had run cold. We kissed one last time wanting the moment to never end.
I lifted her out keeping her attached to my hips and grabbed a few towels on the way to my room. I put her back to her feet and wrapped a towel around her shoulders and rubbed up and down creating warmth for her shivering body.
"Wait here." I kissed her lips once more before going into the guest room and grabbing a few of my sisters' jeans since they always leave their shit all over the place I had a drawer full of their stuff.
"Here." I threw her the jeans that she caught with ease.
"They are my sisters', pick the ones that fit you and help yourself to whatever in my closet." she smiles my way as I left her to get dressed in peace as I did the same in another room once I got what I wanted to wear.
After that, it was time to pick Aj up so I drove her to the daycare and followed her in. I followed the security measures and I soon found myself in a room full of women and the occasional man. All eyes were on us as it seemed that we came later than the rest here. Rhys was still shivering still not getting warmed up even is she had her coat, scarf, jeans and one of my sweatshirts on. I wrapped my arms around her from behind and held her back to my chest. She relaxed in my embrace not seeming fazed by the looks the other parents were giving us.
The kids soon all ran out and headed straight to their own parents. Aj was the last to come out and didn't see happy. He dragged his feet to his mother and dropped his bag by her feet. He looked up at her and made grabby hands not uttering a word. Rhys detached herself from me making me frown at the loss of her body against mine. She picked Aj up and kissed his cheek.
"How was your day baba?" she cooed.
I bent down and got his bag before she could and placed my hand on her lower back to walk her out.
"What is he doing here." Aj pointed at me with a glare.
"Damon took me out to eat some lunch. I talked to you about it." she reminded him as we signed out.
"I hungry! I want out too!" he snapped.
"I can take you out to eat too if you want buddy." I negotiated not wanting to upset him further.
"No. I want out with mummy," he whined.
"Aj, don't use that tone. If you are hungry we can get something on the way home." Emrys shot back as we got to the car.
"Ok." he gave up once he was told that he would be fed.
I opened the car door for Rhys so that she could put Aj in the car seat I had put in for when I have Roro's boys Friday and that was very useful that I had those because Luke and Aj are just a year apart so the seat was basically the same for the both of them.
Once Aj was all set I opened the door for Rhys then ran to my side and started the car.
Aj was looking around seeing that is was not the car he usually goes in.
I could feel Emrys tense next to me fearing that he would have a tantrum at the change. She had told me on the way there that Aj was autistic and change does not bode well with him.
"Nice car." was all he said which made Rhys let out a breath of relief.
"Are those mummy's flowers?" he asked next taking me by surprise.
I forgot those flowers were there.
"Yes, those are your mummy's flowers." I agreed, glancing at him in the mirror.
"Did you get mummy flowers?" he continued.
"Yes, I did. Do you like them?" I followed along with the conversation.
"My mama hates flowers." he honestly stated making Emrys gasp.
"AJ!" she turned around in her seat to tell him off.
I smirked at the boy's courage and brutality.
"And what does your mama like?" I shot back.
"Damon! Don't encourage him." Emrys turned back around to scowled me.
"She likes cars that go fast," Aj answered meeting my gaze in the mirror.
"Noted." I nodded and chuckled lowly as I made the turn into their apartment complex parking.
I helped them out of the car and walked them to their apartment. Aj nodded my way in acknowledgement before skipping off into the living room. Rhys was waiting with her arms crossed and tapping her foot.
"Between you and my son I will have my hands full." she joked and wrapped her arms around my neck.
I sighed and brought her closer to me by her hips.
"So that means that I can come back then."
"That means you can." she blushed.
"But next time Aj needs to be included. If you want to stay you have to earn my trust but not only mine, Aj's too. He is not easy." she played with the hairs at the nape of my neck as she spoke.
"Then it's a date." I kissed the top of her head as a goodbye and promised to call her later.
I walked back to my car with a never fading smile on my lips.

I honestly love Damon.
Thanks for everyone that shipped in a nickname for Emrys! There were some epic ones like Damon calling her Lemon (shoutout to you because that was a great one). I quite liked 'Rhys' and 'Sunshine' as well as 'Emy'. Those will probably be the one I will rotate with as well as the occasional 'baby girl'.
