“A-Ayato-kun, I really like you and, I’d like to be your girlfriend.” I said shyly looking down.
“Of course! You can be m-"
“STOP!!!” Ayato got cut off by a fuming Kageyama Tobio…
~flashback~
“(y/n) ! Let’s go it’s lunch time!” (bf/n) shouted at me from outside the classroom.
“Hai’! Give me a minute I gotta find my wallet! Actually go on ahead and grab us a spot I’ll catch up.”
“Okay. I’ll buy ya something if you can’t find it in time!”
“Thank you!!” I shouted towards her as I continued my search.
“Arghh!! WHERE IS IT? It’s got all my money and not to mention it has that picture…!"
I was starting to lose hope when someone plopped my wallet on my desk. I was about to snatch it up and go catch up with (bf/n) when it was grabbed by someone else. It was being held above my head and out of reach. I tried to grab it but missed because of my short height; that didn’t stop me from continuing to try though.
“Hey! Stop jumping around you can’t reach it!” I looked to the owner of the voice. It was none other than Tobio my buddy aka my enemy aka my secret crush.
“Give it back! And you’re not even that much taller yourself!” I jumped again but still didn’t reach it.
“Tch, just stop you can’t reach it no matter how many times you jump. You’re too short.” He smirked down at me.
“I hate you!” Give it back!” I shouted at him.
“I wonder how much money you have in there. It’s gotta be a lot if you’re so desperate to get it back…or maybe you have a picture of your crush like a little school girl.” I made a final attempt to grab it and stop him from looking, but I still couldn’t reach! Damn 180cm height!
“Oh? What’s this?” He looked at the photo and smirked. His face changed to one of shock when he realized who it was.
“You…you like Ayato?!” He shouted in surprise. I seized my chance and grabbed his hair causing him to yelp and drop the wallet.
“Itai!! (y/n)! You didn’t have to pull my hair!” I glared up at him.
“If I didn’t do something you would’ve kept blabbing on and then the whole school would know about this!” I held up the photo of Ayato. ‘He’s not even my real crush…He’s my twin but most people don’t know that so I pretend to have a crush on him so no one will realize I actually like Kageyama..’
“I won’t blab. I already knew you liked him. You’re always staring at him in class. Not to mention you always show up to volleyball practice and watch him.” My eyes widened in shock.
“Y-you knew?!” Kageyama nodded.
“Good luck with your crush. And don’t worry I won’t tell anyone, but I have a price…” A dark smile spread across his face creeping me out.
“What is it?” I asked nervously hoping it wasn’t anything embarrassing.
“It’s simple really. All you have to do is go to the gym today. Well that and when we have a break you have to kiss Ayato on the cheek. Are you brave enough?”
“Huh?! Are you insane!?”
“So you want me to tell the whole school about your little crush?” I held my breath and clenched my fist to my sides.
“Okay, I’ll do it, but you better keep your end of the bargain or else…”
“I’ll keep my end.” We shook hands and hugged, sealing our agreement in stone. ( you can say that hugging is their style when making a promise )
“I have to go, thanks for ‘giving back’ my wallet. See you after school.” I then ran out of the room to hurry and find (bf/n). ‘Someone’s going to get a shock later…Foolish Kageyama you don’t know that your plan will backfire on you!’
~after school~
“Ready?” I nodded with grim face. Kageyama chuckled when he noticed how grim I looked.
“What?” I glared at him, but he just chuckled again.
“Nothing, I’m just looking forward to seeing this go down.” He smirked while I continued to glare at him. It was then Ayato walked over and greeted me.
“Hi, (y/n)! Hello, Kageyama!” I smiled at Ayato and flashed him our secret sign that we made together.
“I never knew you two were such a cute couple!” Ayato smiled at us. I saw Tobio’s face turn the lightest shade of pink before he yelled at Ayato.
“We’re not together! Who the hell would want to be with this girl anyways?” He went back to his normal serious face and I wondered if I’d just imagined the blush…’He didn’t have to be so rude about the misunderstanding though…jerk! ’
We walked into the gym and I greeted everyone. I went and sat besides Kiyoko-senpai while Ayato and the others prepared for practice.
“Come to watch us play again?” Sawamura-senpai asked me. I nodded in response.
“(y/n), does Kageyama really not know you and Ayato are twins?” Kiyoko asked me. I nodded again.
“What’s even better is he thinks I have a crush on Ayato…” I told her everything that happened at lunch since she was the only one who knows how I feel towards Kageyama.
“What? Did he seriously?” I nodded and she chuckled.
“Is he really that big of an idiot?”
“Wow! I’ve never heard you call someone an idiot before Senpai! My only problem now is that I don’t know how to tell him about all this…And I definitely don’t want to confess first…”
“How about this?” She whispered a really good plan to me. ‘ I didn’t realize she could come up with such devious plans…’
“That’s brilliant! I can’t wait to see his face” I smiled waiting for the practice break to come.
~rest time~
“Ayato!” I called over to him and he ran over. I whispered the plan Kiyoko came up with. He nodded and agreed to the plan.
“Kageyama!” I called to him setting the plan in motion. I smiled at Ayato and began my act.
~~ act start "ψ(｀∇')ψ ~~
“Ayato-kun…don’t hate me for this!” I pulled him closer to me and kissed his cheek. All of the Karasuno players looked shocked and did their best to hide any smiles. While I was explaining the plan to Ayato, Kiyoko told the rest of the team minus Kageyama.
“(y-y/n)! Wh- what are you doing?!” Ayato acted flustered by the kiss.
“I-I like you!” I confessed looking down at the floor.
“Wa!!! Is this a confession? (y/n), you like Ayato?!” Nishinoya shouted at me. I just nodded shyly continuing my plan.
“I can’t believe it! I mean you do look cute together!” I looked oddly at Tanaka surprised he could actually act.
“A-Ayato-kun, I hope I can be your girlfriend?” I looked up at him shyly.
“Of course! You can be m-"
“STOP!!” An angry voice cut across Ayato’s. Kageyama stood there looking angry and flustered.
“Stop it! I can’t tale this anymore. (y/n), I said a kiss on the cheek not a full blown confession!”
“Wha- Why can’t I confess? I can’t keep these feelings inside anymore…You’re the one who asked if I was brave or something earlier right? So why can’t I be brave and confess now?"
“Why? It’s because I don’t like it!” He shouted at me. I glanced at the Karasuno players only to see them all grinning.
“Why don’t you like it?!” I glared at him.
“Because I like you, BAKA!!!” He blurted out in the heat of the moment. He regained his senses once the words left his mouth, but it was too late to take them back.
“Finally you confessed! I thought I was gonna go grey before you did!” Ayato walked over to Kageyama and gave him a pat on the back.
“Wah!! I can’t believe this Tsundere finally confessed his feelings for you sis!” Ayato grinned at me.
“S-sis?!" Kageyama looked completely shocked at the word.
“You didn’t know? They’re twins, Baka!” Tsukishima told him.
“But that picture? And the confession?”
“If you remember the picture and payed close attention you would’ve seen you were in the background of it. You just looked so cute...( like that pic above... just think of something like that ).
“And the confession was just an act to nudge you to confess to her.” Sawamura told him.
“You guys were involved in this too?!?!” The Karasuno players looked anywhere but at Kageyama and started whistling innocently.
“Don’t get mad at me…but now I know you like me and I accept your feelings!” I kissed his cheek and he blushed a bright red.
“D-Don’t do that!” He gently pushed me away embarrassed
“Hey! Don’t laugh at me you idiots!!” I turned to see what Kageyama was looking at. I saw all the Karasuno members laughing so hard they were on the floor. I started laughing at the sight as well as at how flustered Kageyama was. ____________________________________
