Izuku's POV:
'WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS TO ME?' was what I thought to myself as I went ahead and took my seat.
I was just planning to sing in front of Yaoyorozu and her parents, along with Daichi and Ichika as a surprise for them, but I was not intending to sing in front of such a large audience. I wanted to grab the guitar so that I can fine-tune it one more time before using it. After I was lost in my own thoughts, I later realized people were murmuring, which made me more self-conscious. I started spiraling even more into my thoughts, continuously doubting myself, but then I saw Yaoyorozu in the crowd, looking at me. I then realized that the whole point of the song was for Yaoyorozu, not for everyone. After reinforcing that idea into my head, I was able to calm down.
Izuku: "This song is dedicated to a friend who needs a reminder that I'll always be there, even if I'm far away." After saying my piece, I went ahead and checked the guitar one last time before singing.

I look at the crowd again, and I see many of them were enjoying the song. I also see Daichi, who was probably searching for me beforehand, surprised by the performance. I see Ichika by the dessert table but she was bobbing her head to the song. Finally, I look Yaoyorozu who was looking so happy, which put a smile on my face as I continued singing.

After finishing the song, I received applause from the crowd. I walked off the stage as the guests started crowding me, giving me compliments and kids asking to sing at their birthday. After denying many of them, and most of them leaving, I hear a familiar voice.
BBB: "Well, Well, well. Looks like the bottom feeder has a reason for attending." I look in the direction of who said it, and it was the annoying blonde who ruined my suit from earlier. "It's so nice to see a performance like that to show how terrible it is to expect something good from your level." he started laughing.
Izuku: "And what about the people who enjoyed the music." I said back to him enraged since I spent so much time on it for Yaoyorozu.
BBB: "What about them? Most of them are beneath me, so they have no real taste in music, and as for the others, they are just mocking you. This is probably why mister Yaoyorozu has you singing, to show a clown trying his best, only to crumble in the end."
His statement made me infuriated. I may have been mocked by Kacchan before but I was never this frustrated before. I really wanted to punch this kid in the face so badly, but I couldn't since I didn't want to cause trouble.
Daichi: "Izuku! I didn't know you could sing."
BBB turned around to see Daichi and Ichika were right behind him.
BBB: "Ta-Tanaka-san!? What business do you have with him." he had a surprised look while pointing at me.
Daichi: "He's my friend. And I got to say, you were incredible. I didn't know you could sing." while Ichika was nodding along as she looked excited.
BBB looked back and forth, between me and Daichi, he then gulped as he made a mistake.
BBB: "I-I'm sorry for what I said to you, let's leave it in the past, okay?" he tries so desperately to keep me quiet.
Daichi "What happened?" which made BBB quickly turn around.
BBB: "Nothing much. Just didn't realize that you invited him as a plus one. Is that how mister Yaoyorozu knows him, did he meet him through you?" he asks.
Daichi: "I didn't invite him, I couldn't even if I wanted to since I think my uncle will refuse to bring him, someone else did."
Before BBB could ask who, the star of tonight's party called out to us.
Momo: "Midoriya!" she yells while running at me, "That was a wonderful song. And you also finished learning the guitar," she says cheerfully.
Izuku: "Thanks, I wrote the song for you as a birthday present. Which reminds me." as I start reaching out into my pockets, "Here!" as I pulled out a box.
She grabbed the box and opened it. It was a necklace with a rectangular pendant attached to it. It opens up to reveal an inscription saying "I believe you can be a hero" with a button at the bottom that plays a random song that I sang before.
Izuku: " I wanted you to have a reminder that I will always believe and also another reminder for when we were together, which is when we are playing songs. Although there aren't many songs that we performed together, we can always add more wirelessly." After much thinking, I figured this was the best present I could give her since she was self-conscious of being on a high pedestal, which made many people want to be her friend for superficial reasons.
I looked at her as she started getting teary-eyed, she then went and hugged me, and I hugged her back.
BBB: "E-excuse me, but wh-what is your relationship with him?"
She breaks away from the hug as she looks annoyed.
Momo: "He is both my friend and tutor. I invited him to the party."
He looked full of despair once he heard that. I then pulled up my sleeve and I started playing the recording on the UCS when I first met him. Once she heard that, she looked pissed off, then it looked like she had an ah-hah moment as she smirked. She then walked over to her father as she whispered something to him, which suddenly made him angry, and nodded to her. She happily skipped over to us as she looked so delighted.
Momo: "My father is suing you for defamation of the Yaoyorozu family. Hopefully you can rely on your father that you are so proud of to protect you." she smirked.
He looked like he fell more into despair as he dropped to his knees. Yaoyorozu then grabbed my arm as she told me to join her. Before we started moving, I felt another person clinging onto my arm. I looked down to see that Ichika was holding onto my arm as her cheeks were puffed up. Without knowing the reason, I went ahead and introduced Ichika and Daichi to Yaoyorozu, where she happily introduced herself, but it seemed that Ichika didn't like it. We went ahead and enjoyed the rest of the party through the night before I had to leave so that I could wake up for tomorrow's classes.
Izuku: 'Today was so fun, hanging out with three of my friends I thought before I fell asleep on my bed.
