Scarlett's pov

I was sitting in my last class of the day.
It was English.

I wasn't even interested in attending this class but I had to as my attendance was going really low.

I kept looking out through the window.
Kat asked me a few times why I was so quiet today but I just shrugged in answer.

I was still thinking about what Aunt Sasha told me today.

And decided the first thing I'll do on reaching home is explore the mansion.
Yesss, that's what I'm gonna do.

Oh wait....no.no the first thing I'm gonna do is ask Maria if she knew where Xander went and when he'll be back.

Should I call him?
But I also don't have his number!

A mischievous idea popped in my head.
I should take his number too from Maria.
And then annoy him...yayy!! it'll be so much fun.

You just wait...my dear hubby!!
Your wife is coming.....

The last class of the day just ended.
I was so tired till now.

Rubbing my eyes, I went out of the big gates when an average looking man wearing the uniform of a driver approached me.
"Good afternoon, Mrs. Knight. I'm Cole. Mr. Knight hired me to drop you to and off from College to home."
He explained bowing a bit at me.

"Ah! Alright." I remembered how Kat cane to pick me up today.

I think I should check if he'd saying the truth or not.
But I don't have Xander's number to confirm from him.

I pouted. Biting my lower lip, I called Maria.
She picked up on the second ring.
"Hello, Dear. How are you? Is Xander treating you right?" Her sweet voice sounded from the other side of the phone.

"Yes, Maria. I'm doing good. How are you?" I asked.

"I'm happy to hear this."

"Actually, I wanted to confirm something."

"Yes, dear?"

"Umm... there's a guy claiming he's been hired by Xander as my driver." I told her.

"Hmmm.. what's his name, dear?"

"His name is ...Cole." I answered.

"Ohh, he's telling the truth Scarlett. He is my driver's brother. Don't worry. You are safe with him." She spoke calmly.

"Okay, welll....I just wanted to confirm. Thanks Maria."

"It's alright, dear. Take care."

"Yeah. You too!"

I hung up the call. All this time, Cole was standing beside the car with his head bowed down.

"I guess we should go." I went towards him.

He nodded and opened the backseat door for me.

After thanking him, I sat inside and we drove towards Xander's place.

Nothing much happened in the last week.
Yes, it's been a week since I'm married but still no sign of Xander coming back.
