Once Aaliyah and I finished shopping for everyone we knew, we paid, and then headed back to the car.

When we got back to the cabins, Aaliyah and I both put all of the bags in the room she was staying in.

"I got wrapping paper. We can wrap this stuff later." Aaliyah said tiredly.

"Agreed," I said and we both left the room.

Everyone was hanging out at the boy's cabin, so we went back over there.

"Okay, who hung this mistletoe up here?" I asked when I saw a mistletoe on the ceiling as I entered the boy's cabin.

"I decided to start some decorating." Bailey said as she walked to me.

"We aren't staying here for Christmas, you know." I told her.

"I know, but decorating the cabin with all kinds of Christmas stuff makes this cabin cozier." Bailey smiled at me.

I smiled and shook my head.

"Skyler, come here, my darling." I heard Shawn say from another room.

"Boyfriend wants you," Bailey told me.

"Thank you Bailey," I chuckled and walked into the living room where Shawn was.

"Is this song good so far?" Shawn asked me.

I walked to him, sat down beside him on the couch, took his journal, and read it.

It's hard to believe you don't remember me at all
Am I hard to recognize?
You say, "nice to meet you" every time
Yeah and I made you laugh
I still remember what I said
Guess I shouldn't be surprised
You say, "nice to meet you" every time
I know we got a lot of mutual friends
Don't say my name, don't come up in your conversations
Yeah

"Are you snapping at a girl in this song?" I asked.

"Yes, but it's not about you. Trust me." Shawn replied.

"Hailey?"

"It's not about her either," Shawn said.

"Then, who?" I asked.

"Nobody that's living." Shawn answered.

"An imaginary girl?" I asked.

"Yep," Shawn said.

"Well, I think the song is amazing so far. You should keep going." I said as I handed Shawn's journal back to him.

As I was standing back up, Shawn stopped me saying, "No. Stay."

I looked at him, and then sat back down beside him.

"Okay." I smiled.

"You know what? Screw it. This is one of the only few times we are going to be alone. I can write later." Shawn said, and then set his guitar aside.

Shawn set his journal aside too.

Then, Shawn wrapped his arm around me and I snuggled up against him.

I rested my head against his shoulder and I grabbed his other hand.

"What are you doing?" Shawn smiled.

"This." I said as I began intertwining my fingers with his.

A second later, I looked at Shawn and we both stared at each other.

"I love you." Shawn said.

"I love you," I replied and then Shawn started leaning in.

I didn't move.

I just closed my eyes and I felt Shawn's lips hit mine.

I started kissing back immediately.

Soon enough, the kissing turned into making out.

I realized that anybody could walk in at any minute, so I pulled away after a minute saying, "I'm sorry."

"Don't apologize. Here. Let's go where it's more private." Shawn said, got up from the couch, grabbed my hand, and then led me into his room.

"I hope Drew wasn't hearing us kissing." I chuckled as Shawn closed the door.

"If he did he did." Shawn chuckled.

I looked up at Shawn who was coming closer to me.

Once he was super close to me, I stood on my tippy toes and kissed him.

He didn't hesitate to start kissing me back.

I wrapped my arms around his neck and he picked me up.

He carried me over to the bed, and then laid me down in it.
