Chapter 86

We literally spent hours on the swings. I got to know Ryan and Bailey a little more, but eventually it was getting time for dinner.

We all were super hungry.

Bailey and I both skipped lunch. We just weren't that hungry, but now we are.

As we were walking to the car, I got a text from Shawn.

Hey Sky. I got an earlier flight home. I should be home by midnight. :)

I'm honestly so glad he got an earlier flight home. Him being home by midnight is way better than him getting home at 2:00, that was when he was originally going to get home.

I texted him back.

Okay. Be safe. Xx

A few seconds later, he texted back, "I will. ❤️"

I put my phone away when I got to the car, opened the door to the backseat, got in the car, shut the door, and then buckled myself in.

"Hey Sky, is Shawn going to be apart of Jingle Ball this year? I know he was last year." Bailey told me after she buckled herself in.

"No he's not. He's taking a break, but I think he's going to be apart of Jingle Ball next year. I bet we will go to San Jose one this year just to see his buds Camila Cabello and Charlie Puth." I replied.

"Ooh, can I come?" Bailey asked as Ryan started the car.

"I don't know..." I replied.

"It's totally okay if I can't, but it would be cool to meet Charlie and all of them." Bailey said as Ryan pulled out of his parking space and started driving.

"I'll ask Shawn," I told her.

"Sweet." Bailey said.

"Now, where am I taking you ladies to eat?" Ryan asked.

"I don't know. I honestly don't care what we eat." Bailey said.

"Me neither," I replied.

"Okay, Burger King it is." Ryan said, and then continued driving.

Bailey turned on the radio and turned up the volume a little bit.

As soon as I heard what song it was, I chuckled and said, "Wow."

"What a coincidence," Ryan smiled. 

"The car knows Shawn's girlfriend is in here." Bailey smiled as she looked at me.

I chuckled.

"He is pretty popular. Not to mention, Treat You Better is a jam." Ryan said.

I pulled out my phone, and then started recording for Shawn.

The song had just started too.

Suddenly, Bailey and Ryan started singing along to the song after the first line.

I think Bailey knew I was recording.

I shook my head and smiled.

Right after the song ended, I ended the video and texted it to Shawn.

"That was funny, dude." I smiled.

"Yes it was, but at the same time I LOVE that song. I'm so glad it came on." Bailey said.

She's such a fan of his.

"How many minutes until Burger King?" I asked.

"5 minutes if we don't hit traffic," Ryan said.

"Bro, you just jinxed us. Look up there. We are about to hit some." Bailey said.

"Ryan!" I whined.
