Kat giggled and stepped out of the room as well. “That was ccrraazzzyyy.”
“Well,” Rachael sighed and stepped out of the room with Willow. “Goodbye, hotel rooms. Oh how we will miss you so.”
“Yes, there will never be another like you.” I added.
Rachael closed the door and threw her bag over her shoulder. “Alright, let’s go.”
The hotel business was all handled. We managed to get downstairs and greet the boys as well as check out of the hotel. Nathan and I exchanged a few small smiles, but other than that, he was [as usual] just looking away from me.
As soon as we stopped in front of the airport, I heard sighs and groans from the backseat. I think I even saw either Heather or Kat tear up a little. They obviously didn’t wanna leave.
Unlike them though, I stepped out of the car with ease and thanked the driver before I went to the back to take out my bags.
Grabbing one of them by the handle, it kinda slipped and I knew it was ready to fall.
But a pair of hands was quick to jump in and grab the bag before it fell to the ground.
Those green eyes looked up at me and it felt like it was the first day I met him all over again.
Talk about déjà vu.
Nathan chuckled and pulled the bag out of the trunk. “Looks like you really can’t get bags out of the trunk really well by yourself, can ya, Blake?” he smirked.
I rolled my eyes as a smile tugged at my mouth. “Shut up, Sykes.”
Nathan’s smirk grew even wider and he handed me my bag. I accepted it and rolled it onto the small pavement on the side.
“Ugh, I’m so not ready to leave yet. I could stay here forever.” Heather groaned and stepped out of the car hand in hand with Tom. She stood up and looked Tom in the eyes. “I’m gonna miss you.”
Tom smiled and placed his hand on her cheek. “I’m gonna miss you too, babe.” He placed a kiss on her cheek and then pulled her into a hug.
Oh how I wanted that to be Nathan and me.
But I knew it never would be.
I sighed and pulled my bag over with the rest of the bags near the door. I looked down at my watch and then said, “Hey guys, come on, it’s like almost 4:30. We’re running a little late. Our flight’s gonna be here in an hour and we still need to check in our bags.”
The girls nodded and said they’ll be ready in a second.
Rachael pulled over her last bag and walked over to Jay. He placed his arms around her wasit and she smiled. “Ayo Curly, don’t forget about me, okay?” she said.
Jay shook his head and smiled. “Never. I’m gonna miss you.”
“I’m gonna miss you too.” Rachael replied and placed a kiss on his lips.
I pretended to fake gag and heard Heather laugh beside me. I raised my eyebrow and threw my backpack over my shoulder. “Don’t be laughing, you were even more mushy and disgusting with your guy.” I joked.
Willow grabbed Siva’s hand and pulled him onto the pavement as Max and Kat had their little love fest still in the car. “Don’t go around flirting with those Irish and/or British girls while we’re apart, okay?” Willow said with a slight bit of seriousness in her tone.
Siva just nodded his head and smiled. “No one would even compare to you.”
“Damn girl,” I whispered to Willow as I walked past them. I pointed towards Siva and smiled. “He’s a keeper.”
