You woke up and burst into tears. You had a really bad nightmare and couldn't help but cry. You tried to calm yourself down but you just couldn't do it. Not alone anyway. You got out of bed and tip toed towards Donnie's room. However, he met you halfway there. "Oh (Y/n)," he says, "What's wrong? I heard what sounded like crying? Were you crying, honey?" You nod as more tears start to fall down your face. He picks you up bridal style and carries you to your room. He puts you in your bed and gets in next to you. "Nightmare?," he asks. You nod. He wraps you in a hug and you curl up into a ball. He holds you tight and you just cuddle up to him. He starts singing a soft lullaby and you eventually drift off to sleep in your Donnie's arms.
