You woke up and screamed quietly. You buried your head in your hands as you thought about the terrible nightmare you just had. You didn't want to cry. You didn't want to seem soft, not even to yourself. A tear escaped your eye. Suddenly, Raph burst in. "(Y/n)?! What the shell, are you ok?!," he yells quietly. You look up and try to keep yourself together. "Yeah yeah I'm f-fine," you reply. He looks a little confused. Then, he comes over and sits on your bed next to you. "What happened?," he asks. You desperately try to keep it together. "Just a bad d-dream," you say. Then, you burst into a puddle of tears. "A really bad dream," you say. He pulls you close. "Shhh, shhh. It's ok. I've got you. It's ok," he says, gently rubbing your back. "R-Raph it was a really bad dream," you say through tears. "I know. I know. It's gonna be ok," he says as he lays down with you still in his arms. You cuddle up to him and he holds you tight. "I'll stay here with you tonight, ok?," he says. You nod and soon fall asleep in his arms.
