Chapter 51: Pregnant

~Seth~

I was feeling guilty after me and my fight with Venus. I knew I was over stepping bondaries after her telling me not to talk to her again.

But I had to.

I wasn't sure why, but I had this feeling that somewhere she needed me.

I was standing outside her door. My hands shaking, my heart racing and I then was about to knock on the door.
Then that's when I heard it.

Her voice, her scream. She was in pain.

The door was locked so I busted the door down and ran in to find Venus lay onto the floor holding her knees.

I ran immediately to her side. "Venus!"

She was crying and her belly was now showing. When I mean showing I mean she had a baby belly showing.

"Ahh! It HURTS IT HURTS! MAKE IT STOP MAKE IT STOP!"
She screamed and I didn't know what to do.

All I could do was pull her in my arms. So I did and comforted her as she cried.

Then I realized why she was in pain. But I was confused at the sametime.

"The baby is kicking isn't it?"

She nodded slowly.

"Why are you crying then?"
He pulled some hair out away from her face as some got in her mouth.

"It...it's gone." She turns around to face me and looked teary eyed but normal. "There's no pain."

He smiles.

"I'm scared Seth."
I look at her wired, "What are you not telling me? Why are you showing so fast?"

"I think the baby is fast growing, I know it sounds crazy Seth but I can hear him."

"Him?"

"I think it's a boy."

~Venus~

He turns away.
"Why were you screaming?"

"Because...he is powerful. He's...I don't know."

"Spit it out."

"I summoned my mother and she told me- that he is gonna be the most powerful supernatural creature in all of magic history."

''This doesn't make sense."
He turned to face me.

"I think...I don't know but-"
I was cut off by my Skillet ringtone Monster playing on in my jacket.

"Hold on."
I said to Seth as I held my finger up to him.

He nodded like saying Ok.

"It's Aron." I said and hesitate to answer.

I still do and hear his voice before mine. "Hey gorgeous."

"Hi, hey can we um talk and grab some coffee later?"

"Sure. I am glad you and I are meeting in person because theres something I need to tell you too."

"Great I love you."

"Love you more."
I laughed and hung up.

After I threw my phone onto the bed I see Seth's eyebrows raise at me.

"What?"

"You sounded off. Is everything good between you two?"

"Yes, of course. None of your business."

I walked him to the door for him to leave and he and I were close.
There was barley any breathing room between us.

"Time to go." I said as he just stared at me.

"You sure your ok?"

"Yeah I just need to rest. Thanks."

He looked at me in surprise. "For what?"

"Helping me."

"It's just the baby kicking."

"Yeah but still. Thank you."
He then made a smile curve up in the corner of his lips.

For a second I think he was leaning in.

I then opened the door and he scratches the back of his head nervously. "Bye."

"Bye."

"See ya around. Oh and um Venus."

I almost closed the door but his voice made me pause. "I'm sorry too."

Mouth opened like I was gonna say something, but I didn't. He left before I could say a word.
