Chapter 38: Secretly, and desperately

~Venus~

I felt as if I should call Aron or talk to him at least. We haven't spoken for at least two days.

I grabbed my shoulder skull bag and ran out my door. I jumped into the back of a taxi after waiting 10 minutes.

I then arrived at Aron's house and ran up on his porch. I knocked three times and waited for him to answer me.

He answers after at least 20 seconds.

Then he steps out on the porch and hugs me first thing. "Hey beautiful." He pulls away and I meet his blue eyes.

''What's up?"

I put my hands in my pockets and smiled.

"What?" He asked smirking up and down at me.

"I thought I was gonna lose you know. There I was when you where standing there telling me how you were doing it all for us. How you would never see me again."

"You shouldn't think about that V. All you should think is that I am here now" he said. He came up and put his palm up to my cheek.

"I love Seth."

"What...?" He said as he his face expression changed.

"I'm sorry I...I love him it's always been him."

"Venus please. Your the only thing that makes me feel something for once. Your the one I want to be with forever and have a future together."

"Future? What future Aron!"
I regretted saying it after he turned his back on me.

"Look I'm sorry. I can't be with you."

"Oh I get it Venus. Because I don't deserve you and he's a better man is that it?!"

"No! It's because I love him!"

He turns back facing towards me.
"And I love you!"

Silence blew in between us both and I didn't know what to do or say.

"Venus you ok?"
Seth's voice was behind us and I turned around.

Aron's expression changed.
"Just leave."
He then ran inside and slammed the door on us.

"Venus."

"I'm fine."
I said and I turned around to hug him.

"Let's just go."
I said as I swallowed my cry and began walking to my house.

•a few hours later...•

~Aron~

I walked out in the woods. I was so furious and I was not surprised she didn't want to be with me.

Seth. Always will be Seth huh.

"What are you up to?"

"Ah! Don't scare me like that."
I said as Hayley popped up out of nowhere.

"Sorry."

"It's fine. I just thought you would be stuck by Seth's side."

"He's ok?"
She asked as she moves forward.

"Yeah. I could careless though."

"What did he do to you?"
She asked.

"The question is what didn't he do. He steals the love of my life."

"Try not to think about that. He is a jerk." She moves her finger nails up and down my chest.

I grabbed her hand so she could stop.
"Careful."

"Or what?"
She says as our body's touched and I leaned down and kissed her flat on the lips.

Then I pulled away and look at her.

"What?"

"You are very special to Seth I bet."

"I...I don't..."

"Shh...I have you now." I hold her for a brief second in my arms higging her and just like that I snap her neck.

"Sorry." I said sarcastically.
