You sighed as you stared at the stars. Lately you've been feeling homesick since it's been at least two years the last time you saw your family. Gaster was humming when he perked to you sitting by the window. He walked over as you stared at the stars and solar systems.

You perked to Gaster poking your leg. "Is something wrong, (y/n)?" Gaster asked as he sat next to you. "I'm just homesick. That's all si- Gaster." You said as Gaster's ears perked down. Gaster knew what it feels like to miss someone, his wife was cruelly taken away.

Gaster placed a hand on your shoulder before you looked at him. "Do you wish to take a few days off from work?" Gaster asked as your eyes widened. "Y-Yes please!" You quickly responded as Gaster smiled. "Your vacation starts tomorrow." Gaster said as you smiled.

"Thank you Gaster." You said as Gaster's tail wagged. "You're welcome (Y/N)." Gaster replied before you both saw a pair of shooting stars. "Huh. Meteor shower wasn't suppose to happen for another month or so." Gaster said as you quickly made a wish. "What do you think (Y/N)-!"

Gaster blushed a deep galaxy color as you kissed him on the cheek suddenly. Gaster's fur started to fluff up as his labcoat started to a pink galaxy color. You were about to stand up and leave when Gaster held your forearm. "U-Um... G-Gast?" You said before Gaster smiled softly and gently booped your nose with his.

Well. Your wish didn't 'exactly' come true.
