Great Dane!Stars x Depressed! Child! Reader

A/N: I see Stars as a Great Dane since those pooches r HUGE. Bye! ^^

You sighed as your dog, Stars, laid next to you. Your parents were fighting again, which would probably end with them smashing in the kitchen. Stars perked to you petting his dark ear.

"Have you ever felt like you were the only thing keeping two things together?" You asked as you used your other leg to pull your knees close. Stars whimpered before sitting up and laying his head on your shoulder. You smiled sadly as Stars whined and nuzzled you.

"I just wish grandma was still here, ya know?" You said as you slowly started to break. Stars nuzzled you again as his tail softly wagged. You hugged Star's head before hiding your face in his short, black yet woth a purple shine, fur. Stars lifted one paw and laid it on your back as he barked softly.

"I just want the world to stop for one minute that way I can get things straight." You said before Stars curled behind you with his tail on your lap. You smiled before laying down and pulling a blanket over you. "Goodnight Stars." You said before falling asleep.

Stars barked before turning off the lamp and falling asleep with you. You both then woke up to the sounds of your parents. "Oh for the love of Pete!" You snarled as Stars covered his ears and whimpered. You both grabbed a large pillow and covered your ears as tonight was going to be a loooooooong night.
