"I Think I Like Your Brother.." (Request)

Brynn's POV 

Aaliyah and I have been best friends for a while now, and I always had a crush on him, even before he became famous. But I never told Aaliyah..

Today I was once again going over to Aaliyah's house, we were having a sleepover for just the two of us. When I got there I knocked on the door and waited for her to answer it. I waited for a couple minutes before the door opened to reveal Shawn. I instantly got nervous.

"Hey Brynn!" He said pulling me into a hug

"Hey Shawn... I didn't know that you were home already." I said trying to cover up my nervousness 

"Oh yea, I'm off for Christmas. What are you doing here?" he asked me

"Aaliyah and I are having a sleepover... " I looked down, my nerves taking over, lightly blushing

"Well she's not here yet, she went to the grocery store with my mom" he seemed to sense my awkwardness and scratched the back of his neck and smiled lightly

"Oh... Well I can go and come back a little later.." I answered briskly walking out the door, not making it all the way before Shawn called after me,

"Brynn! Wait! You can stay here I don't mind." 

"Ok..." 

We walked back to the house, I didn't realize I actually RAN out of the house and down the street. When we got to the house Shawn opened the door for me and we walked to the kitchen and talked for a while. My nerves started to calm down and I was showing him my full personality. We laughed and giggled for about 30 minutes before Aaliyah and her mom came through the door with groceries.

I quickly stood up and walked over to them and helped them bring in the bags. When we put everything away Aaliyah and I went up to her room and started to talk, and I finally decided to tell her about my crush on her brother.

"Aaliyah... I need to tell you something" I said quietly

"Ok..." she said unsure

I took a deep breath and said, "I have a crush on Shawn"

It was silent for a minute before Aaliyah bursted into a fit of giggles and said, "I know! I see the way you look at each other!"

"What do you mean 'at each other,' he doesn't like me!" I threw a pillow at her

"Yes he does! He didn't want me to tell you though..." she chuckled

"Oh my gosh she likes me too!" We heard someone mumble

"What was that?" we asked each other 

We stood up and Aaliyah opened the door to see Shawn stumble into the room. He had his ear against the door and was listening to our conversation.

"SHAAAAAAWN! REALLY?!" Aaliyah yelled and I laughed

Shawn ignored her and came over to me,

"Brynn, will you go on a date with me?"

"Yes!" I smiled and hugged him

"Really Shawn? My best friend? At my sleepover?" Aaliyah chuckled
