She came over to me and snapped me out of my daze and told me they were ready for me. She walked out and sat on one of the couches outside. I walked over to the radio host and shook her hand and sat in the chair and put on the headphones. She started with some easy questions like "What's your favorite song on the album?" and "Are you and Camilla Cabello dating?" then she hit me with the question I had started to think about all day, "Would you date your assistant Y/N Y/L/N if she wasn't your assistant?" I turned around and looked at Y/N on the other side of the glass waving and smiling not hearing anything we've said in here, I smiled back and turned around toward the interviewer, her with a wide smile on her face, and answered...
"Yes"
Now...
Y/N's POV
Looking into the booth at Shawn, I noticed the host, whose name was Hailey kept smiling at him and smirking at me. I couldn't hear anything so I didn't know what was being asked.
Why does she keep looking at me? I thought to myself
Shawn turned around and just looked at me for a moment and it caught me off guard so I just smiled genuinely, not trying to show my confusion and waved. He smiled back, still looking at me and waved back. He finally turned around and kept talking to Hailey.
Geez what was that..
Shawn was finally done with his interview and hugged the host goodbye and came out to meet me. We started walking back down to my car and I kept noticing Shawn had a light smile on his face and kept his head down so I wouldn't see it. But I guess he forgot that I'm shorter than him so I can see his face. We finally get to the car and I start to walk over to the drivers side when Shawn jogged up in front of me and opened the car door for me his cheeks slightly turning red. This was new to me so I smiled and muttered a light 'thank you' and held his hand while I got into the car.
That's new... But I can get used to that I smirked to myself as Shawn got into the car
We started driving down the road when I decided to ask him what happened in the interview,
"Sooo Shawn what happened in the Interview? What questions did she ask? She was smiling at you quite a lot.. Do you have a new secret admirer?" I joked looking over at him
"Ohh.. She just asked me some regular questions like 'When am I going on tour' 'Who am I bringing on that tour' 'What's my favorite song on the album'" he answered
"So when are you going on tour and who are you bringing? So I can get you ready to go and type up your itinerary.. find your hotels.. I need to get all of that ready since I won't be with you for like 6 months..." I rambled on
"Y/N I'm bringing you!" he laughed "I don't think I could survive without you in my life" He grabbed my hand and squeezed it lightly
OMGOMGOMG!!!!!!!!! HE'S HOLDING MY HAAAAAAND!!!! Please don't let it go.. I let my mind run wild
Shawn's POV

Y/N's POV
I looked down at our hands and over at Shawn and noticed he was smiling too. He turned to look at me and I quickly turned away.
Shawn's POV
I looked down at our hands smiling lightly and felt Y/N looking at me so I turned to look at her and she quickly turned away and I felt her hold on my hand tighten. I smirked and looked away.
We finally got back to my house and Y/N pulled up in front, ready to pull away after I got out. I kissed her hand and got out of the car waving for her to leave, but she just sat there.
"I'm not leaving until I see you are safe inside the house Shawn. You know this." She told me
"Y/N if I were in danger what would you be able to do?" I chuckled at her.
"Shawn get your a** in the house." She laughed, but gave me her mom glare Man would our kids be cute... I thought for a minute before I heard a car door slam.
Y/N stood in front of me and said,
"You must think I'm joking huh?"
That was when she calmly walked past me and unlocked the door to my house, came back over to me and reached up and grabbed my ear tightly and dragged me inside the door, me yelling in the process,
"See Shawn if you would've listened to me the first time, this wouldn't have happened" She said smugly and threw me towards the ground, wiped her hands, and walked out locking the door behind her.
Damn that was hot... I thought again, rubbing my ear heading up to shower
Y/N's POV
About 30 minutes later I'd made it home, showered, and put on my PJs. It was only 10 so I thought I could catch up on a few episodes of OITNB. While I was waiting for it to load, I grabbed my phone and went on twitter. I saw a few paparazzi photos of me dragging Shawn into the house and I laughed. But then I saw something that caught my eye, it was the interview video from earlier. I clicked on it and started to watch it. It was exactly what Shawn said, so I was going to stop it when I heard an interesting question,
"Would you date your assistant Y/N?"
That was when you could see Shawn turn to look at me and you could see me smiling and waving, turning back to Shawn, he answered with a simple "yes" and a smile. I got butterflies in my stomach and felt the need to text him.

I got back in my car and headed over to Shawn's house in my Pj's. I got out and knocked on the door, butterflies invading my stomach.
"Why are you knocking when you have the key" he laughed
"I'm just trying to be considerate" I mumbled walking inside
We sat on the couch in an awkward silence until Shawn said,
"I'm gonna have to fire you Y/N-"
"What the hell Shawn! Are you serious! That's why you wanted me to come over here! So you could fire me?! Yea I pulled your a** in the house by your ear you're alive-"
"Y/N can I finish?"
"Finish firing me? Hell to tha naw! Because you aren't gonna fire me! Not today satan" I said crossing my arms, pouting looking at the wall.
Shawn reached over and grabbed my hand and said "Y/N I was going to say that I need to fire you because I want to date you.."
I snapped my head over to him and said "Really?" I started tearing up looking away
"Yes really Y/N. Will you be my girlfriend?"
I looked over at him, him smiling brightly and said,
"yes"
