Me: I should probably be studying for my Driver's Ed test that happens tomorrow...but I could also ask you guys a question.

Annabeth: Considering your driving, I think that you should study.

Me: But it's so boring and...ugh I can't.  Sorry.  To all you Floridians: keep an eye on the road because I might be driving.  You know that backed up traffic on I75 today?  Yeah, that was me.

Percy: I highly recommend that you study.

Me: Alright, I rolled the dice and I'm ready to ask that question!  @Jaison5 , you might not remember ever reading this book, but it's your turn to ask a question.

Jay: But I forgot what I was going to ask!

Me: Okay then, make up something!

Jay: Um, like what?

Me: Ihdk!  Be like Nike and just. do. it.

Annabeth: Did you just...

Me: I know, I actually am proud of that joke.  Jay, did you come up with something yet?

Jay: I think that I remember what I was going to ask.  "What's better: a steam train, a diesel train, an electric train, or a flying steam train?"

Percy: What's the catch?

Me: There isn't one.

Jason: There is always a catch.  It usually involves me kissing a brick or something.

Me: This time, this is a simple question over what you guys prefer.

Hazel: Guys, what's diesel?

Leo: It's a general term referring to any liquid fuel used in diesel engines, whose fuel ignition takes place, without a spark, as a result of compression of the inlet air mixture and then injection of fuel.

Hazel: What?

Leo: It's gasoline.

Hazel: Oh, that makes sense.

Me: Guys, I'm only half-way through my goal.  250 words to go, if you don't mind.

Annabeth: Well, maybe we can use them resourcefully and answer the question.  I've got to say...hold up. I think that everyone else should go before me.  I don't want to influence everyone else's answers.  Percy, you should go first.

Percy: Why?  Wouldn't everyone pick what I pick?

Annabeth: In all honesty, they'd probably avoid picking what you pick.

Percy: Gods, Persassy much?  Okay, well, I have a question.  Does a flying steam train even exist?

Me: I'll look it up.

*3 hours later*

Me: Sorry.  I got distracted by some videos of cute cats.  To answer your question: I don't know.  I only saw something about a "Flying Scottish Train" or something of that nature.  Sorry, if it's not on the first page of Google, then it doesn't exist.

Jay: Fair enough.

Me: Thank you, I'm glad that you aren't mad.  Okay, let's just say that a flying steam train is a train that is run by steam and flies.

Percy: Then I'm going to have to go with that one.

Jason: The electric train sounds really cool and shocking.  If they don't name one electric train "Pikachu", I'm going to be disappointed.

Piper: A steam train sounds environmental friendly, I think that one is the best.

Hazel: I only am familiar with a diesel train, I'm going to choose that one.

Leo: Okay, get prepared to reach your word goal because I'm going to explain my answer well.  A steam train is better for the environment than diesel, but it still causes the burning of coal, which creates a dangerous byproduct.  Then again, burning of coal happens to produce electrical energy too.  So that is tied with the electric train.  As for the flying steam train, I'm not familiar with that so I can't really talk about that one.  It's a tie between electric and steam trains.

Annabeth: And my answer is simple: flying steam train.  Because that sounds interesting.

Me: A daughter of Hades that is scared of the dark.

Annabeth: What?

Me: A daughter of Hades that is scared of the dark, sounds like a good book idea, right?  I wish somebody would write something like that--oh wait!  I did, please read it.  It's call "Night Terrors" and I really want to share it with the fandom.

Annabeth: You're self-advertising in your own book?

Me: Yes.  If you read the book, may the gods be ever in your favor.
