so very many times,
and each time I've cried,
so to make it easy, I'll tell you with rhymes.
two years ago I met a man,
a gentleman if you will,
no not our neighbor Stan,
he's better than him still.
No he's not a wealthy,
but he's not poor either,
he's a soldier, he's stealthy,
but he's no deceiver.
And yeah you didn't know,
but he treats me right,
we never hid our feelings though,
and we never ever fight.
He's the one I want,
and I know you don't approve,
but one day we'll tie the knot,
and your worries will begin to soothe.
I know this is all a bit much,
and as parents you're upset,
but trust me when I tell you,
he's the one I'll never regret.
