Daniel's Dream

Haley and I were cuddling in my room, on the bed and we would occasionally kiss. Haley turned herself around so that we were face to face, she looked at me.
"Babe?"
"Yes, sugarlips."
"You love me, right?"
I placed my hand on the side of her face and heartfully said, "With all my heart."
"What made you come to that conclusion? You know as well as anyone that I love you and wouldn't let anything bad happen to you. You should know that."
I pulled Haley in for a hug, held her tight, and held her close. I ran my hand up and down her back to help comfort her.
"Haley, you are the love of my life and no matter what I'll always be by your side keeping you safe. Nothing on Earth will ever separate us."
"What about death?"
"Not even death. When we die me and you are going to be buried side by side, in a lovers coffin and we'll be holding each other in our arms for all of eternity."
"But let's just say one of us was to die early, what then?"
"Then that person will keep the memory of the other alive and keep all the good times close to them. They will even have to listen to our song everyday if possible."
"But, we have a whole bunch of songs that we claim to be ours for our relationship."
"Then that person will just have to listen to them all, but we don't have to worry about death for a long time."
"I love you Daniel."
"I love you more."
"Not possible."
Haley and I kissed after that, but it soon turned into a full on make out session, our tongues roamed around each other's mouths, we made them dance and we continued to do this for at least ten minutes before we stopped to breathe.
"Daniel, I have something I need to tell you."
"What's wrong babe?"
"Remember that one night 9 months ago, when we were at my house, just you and me?"
"Yeah."
"Well, now I'm officially nine months pregnant. We're going to be parents soon. We're having twins, a boy and a girl."
"Let's name our son Kaden William Elliot Belliveau ."
"I like it. Our daughter will be named Alice Tiara Belliveau."
"It has a nice ring to it. I like it."
Haley and I got up from the bed and headed downstairs, but as we were doing so something happened.
"My water just broke."
My eyes widened.
"Mom!"
My mom rushed to us, she looked up at me.
"What's wrong?"
"Haley's water just broke."
"Hurry! We got to get to the hospital, quickly!"
Haley and I hurried down the stairs and out the door. We quickly got into my mom's car and drove off.
For the whole ride to the hospital I comforted my girl.
If I had to say it took us around twenty five minutes to arrive at the hospital.
We got out of the car and entered the hospital. We approached the front desk and I was the one who told the receptionist what was going on.
"Please. Help out my girlfriend! She's going into labor!"
The receptionist immediately paged for some doctors and nurses. It wasn't long until they arrived, they took us to a birth giving room and prepped Haley.
Once she started to give birth, I wanted to leave the room, I couldn't stand to see her in that much pain. Instead of leaving I decided to hold her hand and, well, be there for her. It's my duty as her boyfriend to stay with her right to the end and that's exactly what I did.
Once both babies were delivered and wrapped in a bundle the doctor handed them to Haley. Haley had a huge smile on her face and she even made her cheeks go red.
"Hi there Alice and Kaden, I'm your mommy, my name's Hazel."
Haley turned to me. "Come on babe, hold them and introduce yourself. This way they will be able recognize your touch."
"I know that." I replied. "Hand them over babe."
Hazel passed our children into my arms and I think I smiled bigger than Haley did. Both Alice and Kaden were beautiful. I lightly kissed both of them on the forehead and smiled again.
"Hi there, Kaden and Alice, I'm your daddy, my name's Daniel. I handed our children back to Haley and gave her a kiss.
After we signed the birth certificates, my mom asked me if I wanted to head home with her. I told her that I'd rather stay with Haley and be there for her if she needs me. My mom smiled and then headed home.
"You know you could've gone home, I wouldn't have minded."
"I didn't want to, I wanted to stay by your side, and you'll need help with the kids. It's not a one person job, it takes two to tango."
Haley let out a soft chuckle. She looked at me, I looked back.
"Thanks for giving me the chance to experience this wonderful opportunity. I'm glad to have met you, you've been the best boyfriend I could've ever dream of."
"You're welcome babe, and I have you to thank as well, when ever I was mad or feeling depressed you always calmed me down and cheered me up. No one will be able to do it the way you do. Heck, whenever I got mad you would always tickle me underneath my chin and after that you'd kiss me for like a minute without letting me breath. Of course when I was sad or I would cry you would practically always sing some of my favourite songs to me. Your voice is truly amazing, you should be auditioning for Americas got Talent."
"You really think I'm that good?"
"Babe, you're amazing! You'd blow away the whole competition! You'd send the roof to outer space! You definitely have what it takes to become a pop star."
"You know that is sort of my dream. I'll take your suggestion into consideration."
We soon fell asleep and had some wonderful dreams. We probably had the same dream since I was dreaming of my girl, she must've been dreaming about me. We were at the park having fun with our children.
When we woke up the next day we were finally allowed to leave and we could take our children with us. Haley carried our daughter, while I carried our son. I texted my mom: We have been cleared to leave, can you come and get us, please?
My mom immediately replied: of course, I'm actually on my way right now. I'll be there in ten, maybe fifteen minutes.
I responded back: Ok, see ya then mom.

A/N: and that was the end of Daniel's dream before he woke up, his face was totally soaked in tears, he descended down the stairs and left the house. He just sat on the front steps crying and repeatedly said, "why, why oh why did Haley have to die!" He also thought to himself, "how are Alice and Kaden doing? I think I might drop by and see them tomorrow."
