The very next day when I woke up, I did my usual routine but then returned to the room and grabbed my story. I just stayed upstairs for three and a half hours, editing and revising my novel. I still couldn't see anything wrong with it.

A little while later...
Grayson had came to see what I was doing.
"Hey." I said.
"Hey." Grayson replied. "Whatcha doing?"
"Just looking through my finished novel, well, technically I'm trying to edit and revise it, but I don't see anything wrong with the grammar, punctuation, etcetera." I answered.
"Well, we could ask mom if there is anything that needs fixing." Grayson suggested.
"Sure." I responded. "But when I get down there I don't want to hear "I'm sorry for your loss" or "you have our condolences." I'm ok if they wanna hug me but, I just don't want to hear it."
"All right. You have my word." Grayson announced.
With that being said we left the room and descended down the stairs. We entered the living room and everyone put on a friendly smile when they saw me, but where also curious as to what was in my hands.
"What's that?" Mrs. Riggs queried.
"My novel." I replied. "I was wondering if you could read through it and maybe..."
"You want me to be your editor and reviser don't you?" Mrs. Riggs guessed.
"Yes, please." I responded.
"Well, I'll be happy to do it." Mrs. Riggs announced.
Instead of me walking over to her she came to me and collected it from my hands. Mrs. Riggs looked at the title.
"Stars of our Realm. Sounds intriguing." Mrs. Riggs exclaimed.
"That might just become a top seller and might just win an award." Hana stated.
"You think?" I asked.
"I sure do. Ask anyone in this room and they'll give you the same response, one hundred percent." Hana assured me.
"Thanks." I voiced.
"Before I go and read your story there's something we'd like to tell you." Mrs. Riggs spoke.
"What's that?" I questioned.
"Well, the four of us have been discussing this and since you've suffered two terrible losses, which we are all sorry for." Mrs. Riggs started.
"Thank you."
"We think it would be best that we welcomed you to the family, as a official member to our family." Mrs. Riggs implied.
"Thank you...that...that means a lot to me."
"You're very welcome." Mrs. Riggs said.
She then departed, along with her husband, leaving the three of us together. Alone. No one talked for minutes until Hana broke the silence.
"Anyone up for a game?"
"What kind of game?" Grayson questioned.
"We could go outside and do some LARPing of Assassin's Creed." Hana suggested.
"If we had more people than that would be a great idea." Chandler announced.
"I could call some of my friends." Hana said. "I'm sure they'd be willing to join."
"That'd be great." Chandler uttered.
"Who's going to be the Assassin?" I queried.
"You." Grayson declared.
"Well, I guess I could be the Assassin."
"Great." Chandler implied.
"I can be the leader of the Assassins." Hana spoke."
"Sure, why not?" Grayson agreed. "And I guess everyone else will be the Templar order. And maybe Chandler could be the Templar grandmaster."
"Sure. I'm fine with that. That means I'll be that last one to "die."
"So, is everyone all right with the setup?" I asked.
They all nodded in agreement. Hana got to work with calling her friends to see if they would like to join.
I walked towards an open window and just stared outside.
About twenty minutes later Chandler had brought me back to reality and asked me if I was all right.
I didn't answer, I kept looking out the window for five more seconds before I turned to Chandler.
"Are you all right?" Chandler repeated.
"Y-yeah. Just had a couple flashbacks that's all." I responded.
"About you and Gray?" Chandler wondered.
"Yeah and some other things as well." I replied, lowering my head. "I should've just stayed silent and allowed one of them...or all of them to stab me. Everything that has happened to Grayson has all been MY FAULT!"
"No. It hasn't." Chandler declared.
I lifted my head up and made eye contact with Chandler. Chandler led me away so we weren't as close to the others, before Chandler spoke he made sure that no one was eavesdropping, and thank god no one was.
"What do you want? What do you want to tell me?" I asked.
"Are you sure you want to hear this now?" Chandler wondered.
"Yes."
"I just hope this isn't a bad time." Chandler stated.
"Just tell me, all right?"
"I just need to know one thing first." Chandler exclaimed.
"And what's that?" I questioned.
"Will we still be friends?"
"Let's wait and see." I said.
"Well, you see, when I heard a group of guys talking, I was hiding behind the fence. I was eavesdropping. There was a tiny peep hole and so I did watch, I watched as they pulled out there knives and approach someone from all directions. I could've stopped that from happening. So I'm to blame more than you. Hell, I didn't even warn my own brother. So, if anyone's to blame...it's me and not you. If I stopped them, then we wouldn't be in this mess, and you wouldn't be blaming yourself every...single...day." Chandler explained.
"I can't believe what I'm hearing. After all this time you waited about what, 7 months to tell me this?! If you would've told me sooner I wouldn't've ran away. I wouldn't've cut my wrists. I wouldn't've tried to commit suicide. I wouldn't've done a lot of things....I'm going to need time to think about this."
"Sounds fair. Thanks for hearing me out and...I'm sorry."
"You should be." I walked away.
