Chapter 32- When Einstein Learns To Cook

Start from the beginning

Tom turned to face Jordan and he nodded towards me. “You heard her, go help.”

“As far as I know Parker, you have a pair of arms and legs too. So you can get your lazy Bolton butt up and help.” Jordan said to him.

Tom scrunched his face and got up. “Well someone’s a bit grumpy this morning!”

Jordan smirked and continued to look at her phone screen. Whether she was texting Justin or not, it sure seemed like she was really interested in whoever was texting her. Her eyes were literally glued to the screen.

I shook it off and told Tom to get me some ingredients from the fridge.

Nathan’s P.O.V

I took a really quick shower before going downstairs. I could hear Kat’s voice yelling for everyone to get ready for breakfast through the door.

After finally finding a towel, I wrapped it around my waist and went to go put on a shirt and sweats.

After yesterday, every time I see Jordan with her phone in her hands, I just feel like ripping it out of her hands and throwing it in the Bermuda Triangle.

No, I’m not jealous, if that’s what you’re thinking!

Psh, jealousy is an ugly trait and I would never go there. Of course I trust Jordan. She’s my girlfriend.

I just shook off all the stress and made my way downstairs to the kitchen. Walking in, I noticed Max sitting on one of the stools in front of the table while Tom, Jordan, and Heather all stood behind the table, attempting to cook.

Tom and Jordan had flour all over their faces and were laughing while a frustrated looking Heather tried to read the ingredients on the back of the pancake mix. I walked over a laughed a bit. I pointed towards the stain on Heather’s shirt and raised my eyebrow. “What’s that?” I asked.

Heather put the pancake mix down and looked over at Tom angrily. “That”- she pointed to the stain. “Is what happens when you let Tom crack an egg.”

“Mate, how do you-“ I began.

“Hey, I don’t have any cooking experience, I APOLOGIZE.” He said annoyingly.

Jordan smacked his arm and pointed to the bowl on the table. “Go whisk!”

“How do you whisk?” he asked as he grabbed the whisk.

“Idiot.” Jordan mumbled. She walked towards Tom and bumped him away from the bowl. “Move.” She said sternly and began mixing the ingredients.

Heather looked at Max and gave him the pancake mix instructions. “Hey Max, go get the stovr ready.”

Max nodded and grabbed the instructions before walking over to the oven and looking at all the buttons before him. “Ummm….” He said. “What exactly am I supposed to do?”

“I don’t know, just preheat it or something.” Heather said.

“What does that mean?”

Heather turned and gave him an ‘Are you an idiot or a moron?’ looks.

“Mate, come on, you act like you’ve never been in a kitchen before.” I said.

“Oh yeah, well then come over here Einstein and show me what to do!” he snapped.

I stood up and walked over to the oven. I got this.

Willow’s P.O.V

I opened my eyes slowly and realized I was laying in Siva’s arms. I smiled to myself and nudged him a bit, trying to wake him up.

His eyes slowly opened and he looked down at me before yawning. “Good morning!”

“Morning, handsome.” I smirked and placed my hands around his neck. “Good morning kiss?”

“Not while I’m in here, ya nasties!” someone said.

I looked up and noticed Rachael bending down to the ground and picking up her phone from the floor. She looked over at the two of us and waved her index finger from side to side in the air. “It’s not even noon yet. Please spare the rest of us from disgust.” She joked.

I rolled my eyes and sat up. Way to ruin a moment, Rachael.

Rachael nodded towards the kitchen. “Come help with breakfast, we’re making pancakes.”

I sniffed the air and raised my eyebrow. “Why does it smell like something is burning?”

Rachael and I stared at each other in horror before we both ran towards the kitchen.

Smoke filled the air as we walked in. We waved our hands in the air and coughed as we tried to make out exactly what was going on.

In the kitchen stood Tom, Jordan, Nathan, Heather, and Max looking scared as heck.

“WHAT THE HECK DID YOU DO?!” Rachael screamed.

Max pointed towards Nathan immediately. “IT WAS HIS FAULT. HE’S TO BLAME!”

Rachael face palmed herself and shook her head. “Idiots.” She mumbled.

“Well,” Tom said. “How about going out for breakfast?”

“I agree with that idea.” Jordan said.

I nodded my head and turned around to walk towards the living room. “Alright, let’s roll.”
