He rubbed his face and threw his arms down to his sides. “I am now.” he smiled at me. His eyes were still partially closed.

I ruffled his hair and kissed his cheek. “Wake up Sleeping Beauty, who knows what we have planned for today.”

Nathan rubbed his forehead. “Maybe you’ll be too busy hanging out with that Bieber kid…” he mumbled under his breath, but it was loud enough for me to hear.

“What’d you say?” I turned around and asked.

“Nothing!” he quickly said and sat up. “I’ll be downstairs in a bit.”

I nodded my head and walked towards the nightstand to pick up my phone before going downstairs. Might as well talk to that ‘Bieber kid’ since my own boyfriend is being a grumpy mess.

Heather’s P.O.V

I walked around the kitchen and tried to search for something to eat.

You know that feeling when you look in the fridge, have a bunch of food stare at you, yet you feel like there’s nothing to there and you can’t pick anything?

Yeah. Exactly how I feel now.

“TOM?!” I yelled as I faced the fridge, thinking he was still in the other room.

I felt someone’s hand on my shoulder and then realized that he was right behind me. He held his other hand against his ear and groaned. “Babe, you know I’m in the same room as you, right?” he asked.

“Ohh, my bad. Sorry TomTom.” I apologized and gave him a small peck on the lips. “What should I make for breakfast?” I asked.

“PANCAKES!” Kat shouted.

I jumped at her voice and held my hand to my heart, breathing heavily. I looked over at the innocent looking Kat at the doorway. “KAT!”

“What?” she replied innocently.

“No shouting when you’re in the same room!” I said.

“Oh, look whose talking.” Tom joked.

I rolled my eyes and turned to search the cabinets. “Well there’s nothing else here. Guess it’s gonna be pancakes.”

“YYYAAYYYYYYY!!!!!!” Kat said excitedly. “WE’RE GONNA HAVE PANCAKES!!!!! I’LL GO WAKE UP EVERYONE ELSE!!!” she shouted once again and turned around to run into the living room.

She ran into Max and gave him a small hug and said “Good morning Maxy!” before walking off again.

I shook my head a bit and continued to look for the pancake mix. “I think I’m partly deaf now.”

“Hey hey people.” A voice said from the door. I turned and looked at Jordan, who was walking in and looking down at her phone screen at the same time.

Max stood next to her at the doorway and tried to look over her shoulder and see who she was talking to. He smirked, “Texting Justin Bieber, huh?”

Jordan jabbed her elbow into Max’s stomach and walked off, leaving him in pain. Max clutched his stomach and leaned against the wall. “What was that for?!”

Jordan shrugged and took a seat next to Tom at the table. “You were being kinda annoying.”

Tom tapped her shoulder and held up his hand, smiling. “Good work, good work.” Jordan smiled back and high fived him.

I pulled out a bowl and whisk from the cabinets, as well as the pancake mix. “Well will one of you guys make yourselves useful and help me out over here with breakfast?”
