Luke was determined to win your love, no matter what. You were a year older than him and he wasn't 18 yet. He'd see you walk into a bar that he couldn't get into yet, and he'd be worried that you were there to meet your boyfriend or to meet someone new. He wished it could be him. One day he accidentally bumped into you and started a conversation that eventually led to you making plans to hang out with him. But of course, being the dork he is, had no way to get there. And even better? He had no money for the bus! Way to go Lucas. He figured he could walk if he left early enough. The nerves set in and he kept expecting the worst. He fidgeted with his fingers, played with his lip ring, and hummed to himself. All of the tells that signalled he was self conscious. You smiled when you saw him walk into the café. He looked really cute. He found his way over to you and sat across from you in the little black chair. "Hi Luke!" You beamed. He smiled nervously and said hello. "I'm glad you asked me to meet you here. I'm so sick of bars." You said sipping your hot chocolate. He laughed and loosened up a bit. "Yeah. I've actually wanted to ask you for a while." You raised your eyebrows and giggled. "Oh really? Why didn't you?" He cleared his throat and played with his lip ring. "I wasn't sure what you'd say." You set down your mug and crossed your legs. "Well of course you didn't know what I was going to say! You didn't ask!" He blushed and looked at his shoes. You reached for his hand and held it. "I'm glad you finally asked." "Really?" He asked peering at you with his bright blue eyes. You nodded and smiled. Over the course of a few weeks, Luke opened up to you and you to him. Every moment you spent together impacted a wonderful relationship. Even if he wasn't 18 ;)
