The girls were standing in the aftermath of their séance, shocked. "Okay, fun's over, Caroline. You made a point, and I get it. Now give it back." Lexa said, convinced the blonde took it. "What? Well, I didn't take it. What happened?" Caroline asked.
"I don't know. Jeremy, are you home?" Elena called, leaving her room now. Elena walks into the hall to check for her brother.
Bonnie sees the crystal on the floor in the bathroom, and she goes in to get it. "Guys..." She begins to say, but suddenly the door slams shut as soon as she's inside the room. "You guys open the door! Help me!" Bonnie yelled.
"Bonnie! Bonnie! What's going on, Bonnie?" Lexa panicked, racing over to the door. "Bonnie!" Caroline panicked. Elena raced back into the room and she, Caroline and Lexa pound on the door as Bonnie screams for help.
"Try the other door. I'll check the hallway." Elena says to Lexa. "Bonnie! Bonnie! Unlock the door!" Caroline called.
The door finally opened and Bonnie stood with her head in her hands. "What happened? Are you okay?" Elena asked, as Caroline and Lexa stood beside her.
"I'm fine." Bonnie admitted, though something seems off.. it's as if her demeanour has done a whole 360. "Unbelievable. You were totally faking it." Caroline huffed. "Caroline, come on." Lexa sighed.
"No! You scared the hell out of me, Bonnie!"

Lexa, Elena and Caroline were running after Bonnie, who was rushing down the stairs.
Caroline turned to Lexa, once they were downstairs, clearly still frustrated. "I can't believe I fell for it." She huffed. Lexa just frowned, surprised that Caroline was still complaining about it.
"Are you okay?" Elena asked Bonnie, as she'd been awfully quiet. "I must go." Bonnie simply said.
"If she's leaving. I'm leaving." Caroline decided, as Lexa quickly grabbed the blondes arm, "You guys can't leave." She said, disappointedly.
"Yeah I can Lexa. I've had enough freaky fake witch stuff for one night." Caroline said before she took her arm out of Lexa's grip.
"Thank you for having me. I'll take it from here." Bonnie said to Elena. "Where are you going?" Elena asked. "Back to where it all began." Bonnie said, though something about that sentence sent shivers down the girls spines.
"Bonnie! Oh My God— Emily!" Lexa blurted, piecing it all together now. Bonnie turned to the siphoner now, "I won't let him have it. It must be destroyed." She declared, before turning to leave.
"Wait!" Elena squeaked, racing over to the door that Bonnie just left from. She tries to open the door, but Emily has spelled it shut.
"What's happening?" Caroline asked, as Elena struggled to open the door. "I don't know. The door, it's not opening." Elena admitted, frustrated.
Lexa raced over to the door, and touched it with her hand, siphoning the magic from it, into her fingertips. "What are you doing?" Caroline asked, watching Lexa. After a moment, Lexa opened the door, as she'd siphoned all of the magic out of it. "Do you want to explain to me how the hell you just did that??" Elena asked in surprise, as Lexa frowned. "Later Lena, we have to get to Bonnie."
"I'm outta here." Caroline announced, leaving. Lexa went to call after her but decided not to, it would be better to keep Caroline out of all of this.
Elena had her phone to her ear, calling Stefan. Once the vampire answered, she explained everything to him as quickly as she could. Stefan said he'd pick the twins up and they'd go find her.

Damon found Bonnie in the ruins of the old church, setting up a spell. "Hello Emily. You look different." He says, bluntly.
Bonnie who was possessed by Emily, turned to face Damon. "I won't let you do it." She said. Damon gritted his teeth, "We had a deal."
"Things are different now. I need to protect my family." Emily insisted. "I protected your family. You owe me." Damon snapped, angrily. "I know. I'm sorry."
"You're about to be a lot more than that." Damon threatened the Bennett witch. He tried to attack her, but Emily used her powers to throw Damon against a tree, and impale him on a branch, which poked through his stomach.

Lexa, Stefan and Elena arrived at the church ruins. They got out of the car. "Is that.. Damon?" Lexa asked, seeing him against a tree. They walked over to him and Stefan pulled Damon off of the tree branch.
"It hurts. This is why I feed on people." Damon declared. "Shut up before I rein-pale you to the tree." Lexa growled at the older Salvatore. Damon frowned, wondering why the girl was automatically so angry with him.
"Stefan." Emily said, turning to him. "Hello, Emily." He replied. "These people don't deserve this. They should never have to know such evil." Emily said. "What do you mean evil?" Lexa and Elena blurted, in unison. Damon glanced at both of them, finding it weird how often they do that.
Damon then turned back to Emily. "I swear to God, I'll make you regret this." He threatened. "I won't let you unleash them into this world." Emily told them.
"Them? What part of the story did you leave out, Damon?" Stefan asked, looking to his brother. "What does it matter?" Damon replied, dismissively.
"Emily, tell me what you did." Stefan demanded. "To save her, I had to save them." Emily explained. "You saved everyone in the church?" He asked. "With one, comes all." Emily answered.
"I don't care about them. I just want Katherine." Damon growled. Stefan shook his head in disgust, before he faced his brother, "I knew I shouldn't have believed a single word that comes out of your mouth. This isn't about love, is it? This is about revenge."
"The two aren't mutually exclusive."
"Damon, you can't do this."
"Why not? They killed 27 people, and they called it a war battle. They deserve whatever they get." Damon snapped. "27 vampires, Damon. They were vampires. You can't just bring them back." Stefan argued. "This town deserves this." The raven haired vampire growled.
"You're blaming innocent people for something that happened 145 years ago." Stefan said, exasperatedly. "There is nothing innocent about these people, and don't think for a second it won't happen again. They already know too much, and they'll burn your little grandwitch right next to us when they find out. Trust me." Damon then said to Emily. "Things are different now." Emily declared. "I can't free them. I won't." She added, before chanting, "Incendia!"
The pentagram Emily carved into the dirt around her set ablaze and the flames created a wall between Emily, obviously in Bonnie's body and Stefan, Damon, Lexa and Elena.
"No! No please." Damon called out to Emily, through the flames. "Bonnie!" Lexa and Elena both yelled out, terrified for their best friend.
Emily threw the necklace into the air, and it exploded above them. Once the spell was complete and the crystal is destroyed, Emily departed from Bonnie's body. Bonnie finally reawakened, and looked around in horror, having no idea what had just occurred.
Damon vamp-sped over to her, absolutely furious. Since his deal with Emily is off, he bit Bonnie neck and fed on her. "Get the fuck off of her!" Lexa yelled, "Incendia!" She called out, as she used the magic she siphoned from the door, and lit Damon on fire. He dropped Bonnie and flailed around, trying to stop the flames.
Elena had no time to question what her twin had just done, more worried about their best friend. Stefan rushed over to side kneeling next to her before checking her pulse.
"She's alive, but barely. I can save her." Stefan declared. He bites into his wrist and dribbles his blood into Bonnie's mouth. Elena watched in shock as her wound closed up right before her eyes. "Her neck, it's healing." Elena blurted in surprise.
Lexa walked over to Damon, who laid on the ground. She released the magic from him, as he panted, catching his breath. "You can be scary when you want to be." Damon confessed, looking up at the brunette. "Take that as a warning. Next time, I'll kill you." Lexa said, fire and rage in her eyes.

"I don't understand, Lexa, what happened to me? He attacked me, and his face was like..." Bonnie trailed off, trembling as she was still shaken up by the events. "How do you feel Bon? Are you okay?" Lexa asked, placing her hand on Bonnie's arm gently. "I'm fine. It's just this blood. I don't..." Bonnie stopped as Elena and Stefan approached, she immediately becomes frightened and weary of the Salvatore.
"I'm not gonna hurt you." Stefan reassured her. "What's going on, Elena?" Bonnie asked her best friend. "We'll explain everything, Bonnie. Okay? Let's just get out of here." Lexa said, linking her arms with Bonnie's. "Bonnie, trust me. He's not going to hurt you. Come on." Elena assured Bonnie.
Lexa leads Bonnie to their car, while Elena stays back to talk to Stefan privately.

After comforting Elena as she and Stefan had broken up, the twins sat Bonnie down and told her everything that they'd been keeping from her. After a while, the trio watched TV, and Bonnie fell asleep.
Lexa got up, and walked over to the staircase to go upstairs to her room, but was stopped. "Lexa..?" A soft voice spoke up, belonging to Elena. Lexa stopped in her tracks and turned around as her twin got off of the couch and approached her. "Care to tell me what's going on with you?" Elena asked. If she wasn't so tired, it probably would have been more stern.
Lexa bit her lip, there was no point in hiding it anymore.. Elena had already seen too much. "Come with me upstairs." She replied, not wanting to wake Bonnie. Elena nodded, and the twins walked upstairs, heading to Lexa's room.
