Austin

-------

Alex's hand clenched Austin's as they walked along the back stage while YMAS performed. YMAS and OMAM switched performance times so OMAM would play first and YMAS would play right before BMTH. Sienna and Noah were in the crowd this time, and Austin felt nervous to let her delicate self in the crowd without him to help her, but Noah assured him that she would be okay and he'd protect her.

Alex coughed slightly making Austin's thoughts turn to the girl holding his hand, swinging it slowly. Alexis had gotten a call a few hours earlier saying that her brother, Kyle, went home and was now waiting for his next checkup. She was still nervous about her heart, but Austin tried to assure her that she would be fine, but it sparked his wonder to if Sienna had Marfan's syndrome too. He'd have to get her checked out as soon as possible, because chances are, Lucy didn't get Sienna checked because she was unaware of Austin disease. Unless, of course, she knew Austin was in a band and searched around him like a fangirl, but that didn't seem like Luce's style.

"Where're we going?" Alexis asked softly as Austin stopped in front of a door.

"Somewhere pretty." Austin responded, blushing a little when he said it. Thank god Ashby wasn't there to make fun of him for his girly word choice.

His palm came in contact with the metal door and he tugged down on it, pulling open the heavy door. There was a set of stairs that led up to the top, and Austin tugged a confused Alexis behind him. His heart was beating so fast, thinking of what to say to the lovely hazel eyed girl. He didn't want to come off as desperate, or clingy. He was %99.99 sure that she felt the same way about him, but that %.01 still got to him as the answer being a no

As Alexis climbed, he checked his watch to see the time. They had about twenty minutes before he had to be back down at the side stage to pull a prank on BMTH. Their tour was still full of pranks, like the occasional flour in a pillow, or freezing someone's soaking underwear in the freezer so they had to go all 'commando'.

Finally, Austin reached another door and he had to punch in a combination to open this one. He bought off the code earlier this morning, and he was just beginning to realize that fifty bucks was worth it.

Alexis didn't question how he knew the combo, she just gasped when he swung the door open.

The door led to the roof, colors sinking into the almost dead sunset, the moon slowly becoming more opaque as the night crept up on the sky.

"Austin." She breathed, but she didn't need to say anything else; her expression said everything that needed to be said.

She liked it. Maybe even loved it. Austin grinned in satisfaction as she carefully walked onto the roof of the building, watching the sunset. Austin smirked. How cliche. Isn't this how all the chick flicks happen?

"Most of them." snickered Alexis and Austin's eyebrows shot up.

"You heard that?" He asked, confused. Alex nodded, grinning.

"Yeah. You're not very good at whispering to yourself, Austin." she teased. This made Austin blush harder, shuffling around to hold her from behind. She relaxed in his arms and let out a sigh of satisfaction.

"So…" he said, almost about to slap himself from sounding so stupid and creepy, but she didn't make an indication that she noticed, or really cared.

"So…" she replied, her fingers dancing on his hand, tracing his tattoos. Austin felt his skin tingle when she set her fingers on it, his mouth watering.

"The sunset it pretty." Austin, you idiot! You basically write poetry for your job, and all you can say to this girl is that the sunset is pretty? What the fuck, man! Get it together!

Alexis giggled and Austin almost wondered if he said that out loud too, but she spoke. "Yeah. I guess it is pretty."

Austin gave a sigh of relief and rubbed her arms. "Hey, so uh, I wanted to ask you something."

Austin spun Alexis around so she was facing him and he gave her a small smile. She looked a little worried, her eyes widened by a fraction of an inch as Austin stumbled on the right words.

"Erm, well, I mean, when I first met you, I thought you were frickin' amazing. I mean, you were beautiful-well, you still are-beautiful, but I mean, when I met you, you were so pr-beautiful, and I liked that." Austin drew a shaky breath, knowing that if this was a test, he'd be failing it with every syllable that somehow managed to pour from his lips. "Let me start over. You're beautiful, Alexis. And I love everything that you've done: Your photography is amazing, your sense in literature, your story of your brother, your history, your past, your future, your blog, how you saved that girl's life, all of those life lessons you taught me, whether it be how to handle a cold, or an argument, or how to handle a crying teenager-or just a teenager in general, it's just amazing, and beautiful." Austin took another breath and bit his lip. He searched her eyes, but only say her peering back in his brown orbs, looking a little more confused. Well, shit. This is going splendidly.

"And I'm a mess. I don't know how to handle my daughter. I try my hardest, but I always feel like she doesn't like me. I try to go through life with a positive vibe, but it's hard. I know my history is shitty. I know my past is pretty horrible too, and so far, I see my future is going to be the same as my past and my history, confusing and dark. And…I mean…I think it would be…less dark and shitty…well, I mean, it would be a hell of a lot less dark and shitty…more like, bright and colorful…with…with you in it…" Austin drew a shaky breath and took her hands. "I'd like you to be in my future. With me. Me…specifically." He looked hopefully down at her. "Like…me, Sienna, and you. Maybe Noah, if Sienna and Noah really make things work. But…will you be in my future for…for…forever?"

Alexis looked even more confused as she looked down at her hands which were clenched in Austin's. Austin felt his heart crumble a little when she looked back at him with an even more baffled expression.

"Well, Austin." She finally spoke, making Austin want to crawl into a hole and die. He was so embarrassed. He was so sure she felt the same way. "I thought…I thought we were that…already."

Austin was silent as he stared at her in disbelief.

"What?"

"I thought we were together." Alexis admitted, rubbing her neck with embarrassment. "And I thought that our relationship was already determined-"

"Oh." Austin laughed, rolling his eyes, holding her closer and hugging her tightly. "Well then, yeah. Sure. That was just precautionary."

"Good." Alexis snickered, hugging him back, as Austin's heart swelled.

"Good."

Sienna

-------

Josh was singing a song that Sienna hadn't heard before, but it wasn't new, just one that she hadn't looked up before. It was called There's No Such Thing As An Accidental Infidelity, and Sienna was addicted to it. Noah wrapped his arms around Sienna's waist. He was singing softly along with Josh's voice and Sienna closed her eyes. They were standing towards the back of the venue, but they didn't mind. At least, Sienna didn't care. Of Mice's performance was amazing, as always, and Sienna and Noah stood in the photographer's pit for their show.

Sienna turned around and looked at Noah, her eyes catching his. Noah looked down at her, his hands still on her waist. He smirked down at her as she raised her hands up to his chest, resting them against his pecs comfortably.

"Go back home now, go back to sleep, and we say: go back with someone else who wants you more than me!"

Sienna trailed her fingers up to his neck where she wrapped her arms around him, pulling them closer. Their eyes never lost contact as Noah leaned in slowly.

When his lips touched hers, she felt her stomach twist into impossible knots, opening her lips a little to deepen the kiss. Noah let a little moan of satisfaction leave his throat before pulling her closer, pressing against her.

Sienna's eyes closed and sighed through her nose, never letting her lips leave Noah's.

Noah pulled Sienna up a little so she was on her tiptoes and his hands clenched to her hips, his thumbs drawing faint circles on her bones. Sienna's fingers tangled in his hair gripping at the strands as they kissed for what seemed like forever.

Before she knew it, someone was poking relentlessly at her arm. She opened her eyes and saw Alan standing there, clad in sweats, a dark sweatshirt and a beanie, and Sienna realized that the music had abruptly stopped. The hood was drawn to keep Alan's identity hidden, and quite frankly, the concert goers were too preoccupied with Josh who was pulling Dan from behind the drums and forcing him into a strip show as Max and Chris tossed fake paper bills at him. Matt offstage doing something, so the distraction must've been because Matt had suddenly ran off the stage.

Sienna pulled away from Noah, her arm still wrapped around his waist and Noah's arms wrapped around her shoulders. Alan smirked.

"Oh, thank God." Alan said quietly. "I thought you were eating her face off."

"Ah, shut up." Sienna blushed, her lips a little swollen from Noah's harsh, yet delicate kisses. "You're just jealous, Al."

"Mmhm. Sure." Alan scoffed, rolling his eyes. "Anywhore, I was just wondering if you were goin' back to the bus soon or not?"

"Why do you need to kn-" Sienna started but was broken off the the screaming crowd when Dan pulled his shirt off and tossed it into the crowd and Josh began to furiously unbuckle his jeans. She rolled her eyes and turned back at Alan who was giving the stage an amused look. "Why do you need to know?"

"Erm, I think I-uh-I mean-I don't think the guys are going back for a while, but I wanna go Skype Maddie, but I mean, I don't know-I mean, I forgot-"

"You forgot the combo, didn't you?" Sienna laughed. Alan made a face and scoffed.

"What? No…I didn't forget the combination. You forgot the combination."

Sienna and Noah just stared at Alan until Alan rolled his eyes. "Yes, okay, fine. I forgot. Can we please just go then?"

Sienna rolled her eyes and nodded. Alan followed the two and they walked out of the concert room going towards the exit to find the bus in the back. Sienna and Noah kept poking fun at Alan, but Alan only huffed in annoyance.

"Hey! If you don't stop makin' fun of me, I'll tell Austin you were playing tonsil tennis!"

That made them shut up.

-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-

Sienna was curled up on the couch in the back lounge on the first floor. She and Noah were watching a movie and Alan had joined them a few minutes ago. Noah was holding her against his body and was scrolling lazily through his phone. Sienna was absentmindedly doing the same until her phone rang with a notification.

I thought we had something special, Sienna. I guess not…

It was from Avery.

Sienna felt her mouth go dry as she squinted at the little banner before it rolled back up towards the top of the screen and vanished, waiting to be read.

She quickly slid her thumb down to tap on the messages bar to read the full message.

I thought we had something special, Sienna. I guess not. I heard about you dating some kid named Noah. Whatever. Just remember, Sienna, the world doesn't revolve around you. Don't think you can just go through life and not pay for the consequences like cheating for instance.

Sienna blankly stared at the message feeling her eyes water as Noah excused himself to answer his ringing phone.

Alan glanced over at Sienna and instantly sensed something was wrong.

"Si, you okay?" He asked cautiously.

Sienna didn't answer at first. She just began typing a furious reply.

Cheating? You're the one to talk! You were talking with that girl on Facebook. You were trying to play me, Avery. I had to do what was right for me.

She sent it and crossed her arms over her chest, her phone still in her vice grip.

"Sienna, are you okay?" Alan repeated himself. Sienna opened her mouth to answer but her phone buzzed. Alan's eyebrows drew together and he knew whatever that was bothering Sienna was on her phone. Alan lunged at Sienna causing her to shriek and flail her arms, resulting in her phone dropping into Alan's lap.

Alan unlocked her phone, somehow he knew her password and not the one to get on the bus, and read it quickly. "What?" Alan snapped, his face getting a little bit more red.

"What did he say?" Sienna asked softly. Alan shook his head, typing something into the messages. "Alan! What did he say?"

"Nothing that I'd like to repeat." Alan said forcefully. Sienna leaned over and Alan showed her the phone, not letting it go.

Cheating? You're the one to talk! You were talking with that girl on Facebook. You were trying to play me, Avery. I had to do what was right for me.

You had to do what's right for you? Oh, that's rich, Sienna. You know, my brother made a bet with me to see how long it would take for me to fuck you. That was the day I met you. The only reason I talked to you was to get 300 bucks. God, can't wait to tell everyone what happened between us.

"Nothing happened between us." Sienna said numbly, trying not to think about what Avery said about the bet. Alan's eyes shot to her as she read Alan's response.

What do you mean 'what happened between us'?

"I assumed you didn't do anything with that dick." Alan sighed, his hands still not releasing her phone. "I just wanna see what this fucker does."

Avery's reply came with a buzz and Alan read it first, shielding it from Sienna.

"WHAT?" He snapped, running his fingers through his hair. He stood up and gripped Sienna's phone so tightly that his knuckles were a pale yellowish and white color. "Fucking hell, where's Austin?"

"What did he say?" Sienna asked, leaping up after him. Alan only shook his head, leaning away from her, looking for her father. "Alan, tell me! And you can't pull that trick of holding it above your head. I can fuckin' reach it."

"You don't want to see it." Alan said dully, his face beet red.

"Yes I do. Now show me." She demanded.

Alan hesitantly showed her the screen. It was quite obvious that Alan wasn't going to give the phone back to her anytime soon.

Don't you remember? We had sex, Sienna. Dirty little sex. And you don't remember it because you were coked up. Isn't that wonderful? Your cuts on your skin, your nose a bit bloody, your breath stank of alcohol, and your mind was perverted. Don't you remember? The internet believes anything, and the internet remembers. You had this coming, Sienna.

"He can't." Sienna heard herself say, but all she could hear was the ringing in her ears. Alan looked worriedly at her as she swayed. "No, he can't."

"Sienna, you should sit." Alan directed, but Sienna couldn't focus.

"He can't do this to me. Not again. Everything was going so well, things were going my way…he can't…why would he do this to me?"

Alan opened his mouth to reply, but nothing came out. He was blurred and Sienna's eyes rolled in the back of her head as she fell.

She really needed to remember how to breathe in situations like these.
