Neethu's POV
That miserable night passed by hardly but there was no positive response from the doctor's side. My body was aching and I rubbed my eyes hard to open it. I noticed that I slept by sitting in the chair. My mind strikes about Rithick's accident. Suddenly, tears filled in my eyes. I was dying inside, I never expected this moment in Rithick's life. I never hate him from my heart. I want my Rithick back. I have adjusted everything for him.
I have given Rithick to Shantra only because of his love on her. Hereafter I can't give him to anyone. God! Please save my Rithick and give him back to me. I wish to have a happy everlasting life with him.
I remembered the happy days with him. Painful tears flowed from my eyes spontaneously.
I noticed Rahul and Riya were discussing something about Rithick. I stepped towards them.
"Did you know any information about Rithick?" I asked with tears in my eyes.
"Nope! Neethu. I was waiting for doctors reply. It was killing me Neethu," he said and sobbing like a child. I knew, how much it will pain. I have no words to console Rahul.
"One of my loving anna was in ICU and other was standing outside as body without life. I can't control myself Neethu. I want my both brothers to be happy always," Said Riya emotionally.
"Don't worry Riya, Rithick will be alright and your both brothers will be back to you," I said. Riya hugged me at once. I consoled her.
Rithick's accessories were given to Rahul by the nurse. He asked about Rithick but they didn't response anything properly that makes my body to shiver.
Rahul looked at Rithick's purse, mobile phone emotionally. Only I can shed tears, God! what is happening? Please save my Rithick. Please God, save him.
Rahul's POV
Rithick, who is more than my life was in ICCU ward begging for life. Did I protect you to see you like this? Why did you move away from me Rithick? I am a fool to leave you alone yesterday because of Shantra, I got irritated and left you. How can you do this to me Rithick? How can you punish me in such a way? Please Rithick, come to me. Don't make me to cry. Rithick, don't test our patience, come to us. The doctors were not replying properly, it gave unbearable pain. I can't imagine my life without you my brother.
I pinned my head in the nearby pillar, the nurse gave Rithick's mobile phone and purse to me. I became weak right at that moment. What happened to my Rithick? I won't allow anything to him?
"Sister! How is Rithick now?" I asked the nurse.
"Doctors will inform you about his condition within an hour. Be patient sir, Please" she said.
How can I remain patient by seeing my Rithick like this? God if you want anything to do to Rithick, please do it to me. Save my Rithick please.
Rithick's mobile rang which was in my hand. The screen displays Sanjay uncle picture. We didn't inform the news to Sanjay uncle and my dad. They went to U.S for business matters. Tomorrow they will reach India. How could I say to my uncle that Rithick met with accident and aunt was admitted in hospital? To protect him from his enemies he made him to stay in Bengaluru guest house. I am a fool, I didn't take care of my Rithick. I was careless so that Rithick was in this stage. Unknown tear drops arose in my eyes. I didn't pick up his call.
I switched off his mobile. His purse fell down from my hand. The purse was opened. There I saw a photo, in which Rithick was standing in middle, I and Riya were standing in his right and left side. I hugged my Rithick's photo. I need you Rithick, immediately right now.
I was surprised to see the keychain, "You are my golden spring time" which was presented by Neethu during their first meeting in the airport. I was not shocked because I knew how much Rithick loves Neethu and till this minute he loves her. This is the proof. I felt happy for him and Neethu.
I kept his purse and mobile in my pocket. I felt a bit relaxation like Rithick was together with me.
Sometimes later, the doctors came out running, "Rahul, sorry. We tried a lot but still he is in unconscious state. Often he is murmuring your Name and one more name," he said.
"Who is Neethu?" asked the other doctor.
"Neethu is his friend doctor" I said
"Rithick's unconscious mind remembers only you and Neethu. Only you both can try to bring him back. It is in your hand. You both can try for the last struggling minutes of Rithick. Both of you go and see him for the last time. Please, inform to everyone especially Sanjay," said the doctor.
"Please doctor , don't tell us that it was the last minute of Rithick . We will save him. I want to see my Rithick," I said and informed Neethu regarding his condition.
First I entered the ICCU ward. My eyes were flooded in tears but hardly I developed confident in me. I stepped towards him. Rithick! Rithick! I can't see you like this. I moved closer to him. His mouth was covered with oxygen mask. His eyes were closed. I held his hand tightly. My hand and his hand were glued together brought some strength in me.
"Rithick! Can you hear me. I know you can hear me Rithick. I am your Rahul. Fight it and come back to me. Rithick, please Don't leave my hand. Come back, you can. I and our family need you Rithick! Please don't leave us alone. I can't live without you Rithick. Fight back and come to us" I cried and fell in his hand.
Neethu's POV
A sudden fear arose in me at once Rahul informed me about Rithick's status. I can't see him in such situation. How will I go to see him? I have no courage to see my Rithick struggling for his life.
I stepped in the ICCU ward slowly.
My life, my love was in bed with oxygen mask in his mouth. His head was banded with white cotton. Rithick! I cried out. Rithick! What happened to you?
I stepped nearer to him slowly. I held his right hand tightly "Rithick! Can you hear me Rithick. Please, try to concentrate me Rithick. Please, come back to me Rithick. Do you know? I love you madly Rithick. I need you Rithick. My life is with you Rithick. I can't give to anyone anymore. I love you Rithick the same way you love me. I know you love me only Rithick. Why are playing this game? Even now, you are playing a game with me Rithick. Please Rithick, come back. I can't imagine my life without you Rithick. Please Rithick, listen to me. I am in love with you. I love you my sweet heart. I love you. I love you. I kissed his hand," I kept my head in his arms.
Rahul was in his left side still I can't control my emotions. We both tried a lot.
Suddenly, I felt a shiver in Rithick's hand. I informed to Rahul. We rushed out to inform the doctor.
"Doctor! Rithick is responding to our converse. Please check him doctor" we said.
"After few hours of fight back, Rithick crossed the danger zone and he was safe" informed the doctor.
Happy tears arose in my eyes. I thanked God for giving my Rithick back.
Rithick gained his conscious. The doctors permitted to see us one by one. Rithick's mom became normal, she went to see him, then Rahul and Riya.
Finally, Rahul requested me to see my Rithick. I felt hesitated to see him because I can't see him in pain. Controlling myself I went inside.
Rithick looked at me with a smile. He stretched his right hand towards me.
I held his hand tightly. I kissed his hand then his forehead and his chin. I cried a lot. He wiped my tears.
His mouth was covered with oxygen mask. He showed a sigh to sit in the bed. I sat in the bed. I lied my head in his chest and encircled my hands to hug him. He too hugged me.
"How could you think to leave me Rithick? I knew you will come back to me. Love you Rithick. I love you so much" I kissed his chest.
He pulled his oxygen mask from his mouth.
"Neethu! Are you sure? Do you love me?" He asked innocently. I got up from his chest and smiled at him. He brought my head closer to him and kissed my forehead.
Someone opened the door harshly. We turned back to see.
