-Kenji-

I panted heavily, as I kneeled down across from Saya.

"There's no way you're the same boy from the forest," she huffed.

"Believe me...I am. This is me when you try to hurt the people I love," I snapped.

"That Hyuga brat?! What's so special about her?"

"That girl means a lot to me...she doesn't know it yet, but I'm gonna marry her...she is gonna become stronger and stronger no matter what! When that day comes...I'll be at her side, to help her on her journey," I smiled.

"Aren't you a loyal little mutt," she smirked.

"You're testing my patience old lady..."

"Excuse me?! I'm not old," she fumed.

"You certainly aren't young either," I said as I punched her in the face, sensing her into a wall.

"Summoning jutsu!"

A giant sphere appeared out of nowhere, landing with a loud bang.

"Great...now she wants to use ninjutsu," I mumbled as I infused my chakra.

"You aren't going to use me," Dai-Mei asked me telepathically.

"I don't know if I should...you made a big fuss earlier..."

"You can trust me, master..."

"Alright...Beast Art: Beast Summoning jutsu!"

My giant wolf arose from smoke, creating a loud roar.

"I'm glad you summoned me," he smiled.

"Now is not the time for sentimental speeches, Dai-Mei..."

"He's right...because my sphere is starting to take it's true form," Saya smirked as she stood atop a giant bear.

"Hop on, master!"

"Right!"

I leapt onto Dai-Mei, engaging in battle with the opposing team.

The bear raised it's paw, swinging ferociously at us.

Dai-Mei caught it's paw with his mouth.

"You shouldn't just rely on ninjutsu," Saya snapped as she swung at me with her Axe.

I smacked her arm, changing it's direction.

"Look, this battle is getting really annoying," I said as I struck her in the chest.

"You're starting to get a little sluggish," she said as she swung at my abdomen.

I barely dodged it, only losing my lower shirt half.

"Oh wow, tan skin! Toned abs and you're all sweaty! I don't think I wanna fight anymore," she said as he skin turned a light shade of red.

"Quit checking me out! I'm saving myself for Himenei!"

"This girl would have not even the slightest idea what to do with you," she said as she closed in on my body.

"Knock it off! Why are you so gross?!"

I grabbed her wrists, slinging her into the air.

She flipped herself, pressing her feet to the ceiling.

She gave me a smug look, before shooting downward.

"Master Kenji!"

I looked in front of me, only to get swiped by a giant claw.

I yelped in pain as I flew into the ground below with a loud crash.

"Master!"

"What a clumsy boy," Saya cackled.

"You're starting to piss me off..."

"What a foul mouth...maybe a taste of iron will cleanse it," she said as she threw her Axe at me.

It began to shine a purple color, as it spiraled.

I sent my fist into the blade, sending it backwards.

"Are you insane?! Why would you hit the blade portion?!"

I felt myself losing my sanity as I licked at my bleeding hand.

"Beast Art: Raging Blood Thirst jutsu..."

My body began to shift even further into a primal state, increasing my attributes to an even further peak.

"You're becoming more monster than man!"

"Exactly," I said in her ear as I flashed behind her.

I smacked her across the face, sending into a nearby wall.

"Get away from my master," Dai-Mei said as he slammed his shoulder into the summoned bear, sending it into the wall next to Saya.

"Dai-Mei!"

"I'm ready!"

"Alright! Beast Art: ROAR OF DAI-MEI!!!"

We combined our blasts in one, colliding with Saya and the bear.

I felt my body grow numb from consistently shifting into my beast.

"That's enough, buddy..."

Dai-Mei bowed his head, before bursting into a cloud of smoke.

"If only you knew how much I liked you Himenei..."

----

-Himenei-

"You've been sneezing a lot...now isn't really the bet time to catch a cold ya know," Karin said sternly to me.

"I know, especially since we keep encountering people as we search for Yuko."

"We've looked all over the place...I don't see where this girl's room could be," Karin groaned.

"Well...what other room is there?"

"Even with my Byakugan I couldn't see any secret passages..."

"Do you think there's another area?"

"I doubt it...but I noticed that the pillar is hollow," I said as I pointed to the large pillar in the center of the temple.

"Hollow? Then maybe there's a secret door inside it," she said.

"Karin this is not a treasure hunt! Why would there be a secret door here," I snapped.

"Either way it goes...there's something in there," she shrugged.

"Let's see," I said as I tapped on the pillar, listening for a weak spot.

"Found it! You ready," I asked Karin.

"One...two...THREE!"

We both kicked at the pillar, placing a giant hole in it.

"Well...it's a door," Karin shrugged.

"Just not so secretive..."

"How will we get around," she asked.

"Chakra of course," I smiled as I sent chakra to my feet, walking along side the wall.

We walked along the center, going up until we reached a room.

"It's empty," I sighed.

"Not exactly," a girlie voice said.

"Karin, why are you talking like that?"

"Like what?"

"Like a girl...?"

"I'm a girl, duh!"

"Barely...."

"You two are funny," a girl who looked like Yuko smiled as she emerged from the shadows.

"That's not Yuko," Karin and I said in unison.

"Of course not...I'm another soul hunter," she giggled.

"So you wanna fight? I'm down," Karin snarled.

"Soul Edge jutsu..."

A double bladed staff appeared in front of the girl, spinning rapidly.

"Karin, I've got your back..."

"No need, there's no way she'll be fast enough to hit me with that speed," Karin grinned.

"You're a little cocky for your age..."

"Aren't you younger than both of us," I asked the girl.

"Nope...I'm Yuko's older sister, Ayanei Furenjin."

"Why are you doing this to her if that's your sister," I asked.

"I enjoy watching her suffer, after all the sadness I've endured..."

"Honestly Ayanei...we don't care," Karin interrupted.

"How rude," Ayanei gasped.

"Both of us have heard enough sob stories...including our own," I huffed.

"So don't take it personal," but I'm going to beat you to a pulp," Karin said as she kicked Ayanei in the face.

"Karin!"

"Just keep looking for Yuko! I can handle her!"

"Alright..."

I looked back once more before proceeding to the very top of the building.

When I got there, there were three men guarding a harsh purple light.

"Who are you! Don't move!"

They proceeded towards me, attempting to pin me down.

I grabbed one's arm, flipping him onto the ground.

The next one took a swing at me with his Axe, but I avoided it, striking sixteen of his chakra points.

He fell to the ground on top of the other.

"You're making a big mistake," the last one said as I struck his chakra core twice.

I sighed heavily as I walked over to the harsh light.

I looked and noticed that there was a girl inside.

The girl's eyes opened sharply, before she struck my lower abdomen, sending me to the edge of the temple.

"Wh-what is that...?!"

"I'm the perfect soul hunter...Haruhi Kaizen..."

----

-Kagura-

"You're obviously not as strong as you proclaimed to be," I laughed as I held my whip around Zenith's throat.

He struggled under my grasp barely even giving me a challenge.

"What's the matter, you're not talking as much as before buddy," I laughed maniacally.

He began coughing blood, which honestly was disappointing.

"Oh great...now you wanna die, when I'm having fun..."

"J-just...kill...me!"

"Kill you? Oh, no I wouldn't do that," I smiled.

He let out a loud gasp, as I released him.

"Before I ruin even more...release the genjutsu on the temple," I commanded.

"If I do that..."

"They'll kill you?! Hey, newsflash! Either way you're going to die!"

He let out out a loud breath before weaving three signs.

Suddenly the temple became visible.

"I'll let you live...only so you can know what it's like to be tortured by your own kind," I said as I ran to the temple.

When I entered I noticed that there was a dark hall, lit by purple torches on the walls.

I ran to the open doors at the end, only to find Kenji leaned onto the wall next to some blonde girl.

"Kenji..."

"Hey sis..."

"You've used up a lot of your chakra...why didn't you use your beast?"

"Well...I kinda had to summon him in battle," Kenji said as he rubbed the back of his neck.

"Your wounds are healing pretty quickly though...which means you can come with me," I said as I dragged him along.

"What? Where are we going?!"

"To find my students! There's no way that they haven't been encountered by someone strong," I said.

"Then again..."

"Then again what," Kenji asked.

"I didn't say that," I groaned.

Suddenly a man with a large amount of chakra appeared before us, sending us backwards.

"Kagura," Kenji said as he caught me in his arms.

"I'm alright..."

"You little pests have been bugging me all day! No matter who I send after you, you seem to thwart my plans..."

"I'm assuming you're the headmaster of this clan...you ought to be ashamed of yourself for putting Yuko through so much strife! All because you wanna keep her in the family," Kenji snapped.

"Not just that...she's the only one other than her mother who contains the special sage chakra."

"That's pathetic! How can you choose chakra types of loving your child," I seethed.

"There is no point in love! Not when you can predict the outcome of it with over two hundred and fifty percent accuracy," he laughed.

"Literally everyone I've seen in this temple is a lunatic," Kenji sighed.

"Watch your tongue boy," the headmaster said as he blasted Kenji with a flame.

"Sorry...but my body has begun it's healing process already...which means you need to use something a lot more powerful to hurt me," Kenji smirked.

"These are the qualities of the Akashi clan!"

"Exactly...now get out of the way, and give us Yuko back," I snapped.

"Come and take her!"

"Kenji!"

"Running Style: Lightning Beast jutsu!"

"Running Style: Water Beast jutsu!"

Water surrounded my body as I ran towards the man.

He got ready to defend himself, but he was too slow.

I sent the force of water onto him, sending him back a bit.

Kenji came crashing down from above, shocking him.

"This battle will be interesting," the man said as he shook off the sparks.

"Indeed..."

----

-Himenei-

"Byakugan!"

I parried all of the incoming attacks from Haruhi, striking her several times in the chest.

"I'm amazed that you can handle the Kaizen style," she smirked.

"Don't you speak their name like you're one of them," I hissed.

"Are you one of them," she snapped.

"More than you'll ever be!"

"Shut up," she said as she swung at me again.

I noticed that her hits had chakra infused in them.

"That explains why you're so strong..."

"More or less."

"Hmph, I'm still gonna beat you," I said as I struck her face, knocking her back.

She took full swing at me, aiming at my chest.

I jumped, doing a handstand on her punch.

"How fancy," she said as she swung with her free hand.
I lifted off of her fist spiraling downward into an Axe kick.

She caught it, grabbing my foot.

She began spinning around, throwing me into the distance.

"Shadow Clone jutsu!"

I used my clone to vault off of, and make my way back onto the temple top.

"How dependent of you," she smirked.

"At least she has people to depend on," a familiar voice said.

I gasped as Haruhi was sent flying towards me.
