During the start of IW

Thor clutched Loki's cold body close. His brother was dead. Gone. Thanos had said 'No resurrections this time.'

The ship grumbled as it started up and gradually started to move towards the distant blue and green planet. Thor was too consumed by grief to notice. Then suddenly, Thor sat up, and whispered to Loki.

"I know you are alive, Brother."

But the purple corpse in front of him didn't move. Thor screamed again.
Pain for his cried. Pain for losing the last member of his family. Pain for his nemesis, his ally, his brother.

Loki POV

Loki watched from the shadows, as Thor cried out, once, whispered something to the illusion in front of him, and sobbed again.

A silent tear dropped down Loki's face, but was hastily brushed off, as Loki whispered "The sun will shine on us again, brother."

Then he teleported to Sakaar, where he could live in peace for the rest of his life. Sometimes, even the god of mischief needed a break.
