Some people long for a life that is simple and planned
Peter had never wanted to have such an unpredictable life.

Tied with a ribbon
All he wanted was to be normal.

Some people won't sail the sea 'cause they're safer on land
But instead he was bitten by a radioactive spider, and was thrown into the chaos that was his life.

To follow what's written
Barely anything about him was normal.

But I'd follow you to the great unknown
He had lost his parents when he was young, then his uncle Ben, and then only last week, he had lost his Aunt May.

Off to a world we call our own
When he was Spider-Man, it was like he was a whole different person.

Hand in my hand and we promised to never let go
He only had a few people in his life that he could count on. Aunt May, Ned, MJ, and Tony.

We're walking the tightrope
He depended so much on those people, and at any time he could fall through the gap.

High in the sky
We can see the whole world down below
When he was Spider-Man, he could focus, and see the world from a different perspective.

But things were changing so much.

Never sure, never know how far we could fall
One slip-up, one tiny mistake was all it could take for his life to be changed.

But it's all an adventure
That comes with a breathtaking view
But sometimes he could just stop, and think about his two sides, and how different and similar they were.

His life was a string over a mountain, one wrong move and it would be over.

Tony had helped him. He had designed the Spider-Man suits, and saved the world.

Mountains and valleys, and all that will come in between
He had suffered, been up and down, saved people from fires, but someone always died.

So many things had changed. He had a better suit, a mentor, everything he ever wanted b

You pulled me in and together we're lost in a dream
It was like Spider-Man was a whole different person, who helped him snap himself out of his sadness, if only for a while.

Always in motion
Just keep moving. Things can't catch up with you if you keep moving forward.

So I risk it all just to be with you
Peter had skipped school and Tower Weekends for over a month, completely ignoring his friends, just to be with May as she lost her battle with cancer.

And I risk it all for this life we choose
He put his life on the line every night, to keep everyone else safe.

Peter walked out of his and Mays apartment for the last time, looking back he remembered all the times May had helped him when he was in trouble.

He had never even told her he was Spider-Man. He regretted it now.

But he had so many people to have his back. Ned, MJ, Tony, Nat, Steve, Bruce, Thor, even Loki. All of the avengers.

Well, it's all an adventure
His life was so strange and messed up.

That comes with a breathtaking view
But so beautifully unique at the same time.
