“I'm almost done” she replied.
“What! What else do you intend on doing again, your make up is done, your hair is done, your shoes and jewelries are on, what else? Is it more than just a cocktail par_” I halted when it dawned on me that she's expecting her boyfriend at the party. “Wait a sec! You're expecting Leo at the party?” I asked.

As the guest were chattering with a flute of champagne in each of their hands, my heart boomed for joy when I saw how happy Alia was. I just can't wait to meet that man she loves so I can patch things up between them.
