How did you discover Wattpad?

I wrote That Very First Day, printed it out and had my sister read it. She said it was great and everything but I knew she didn't have writer's eyes. I needed to get the story out there so that more people could read it, and hopefully enjoy it. And the rest is history. I guess Wattpad had been there the whole time, I just hadn't been looking for it.

How long have you had Wattpad, and how often do you use it?

I've been on for four months. I use Wattpad almost everyday. Even when I'm not on it to post anything, I like to read stories and connect with people through the website.

Is there a meaning behind your username?

I actually like to talk about my username, it took me a bit to come up with. My name is Angela, add a 'c' and an 'e' and there you go! Angelace. 657 translates to 6/5/2007 which is the date I got my most recent dog, Charlie.

Why did you start writing? What age did you discover your love for it?

I started keeping a journal in first grade, I was putting my pen to paper. I started writing seriously when I was ten, and I was amazed at everything I was coming up with in the midst of writing. It was one of the most vivid "Ah ha!" moments of my life so far.

Who are your favourite authors?

John Green, Veronica Roth, Meg Cabot and Suzanne Collins are a few of many favorite authors.

What are your favourite books? (Books on Wattpad count too!)

The Fault in Our Stars is by far my favorite book of all time and Looking for Alaska is pretty awesome too.

What is your favourite genre?

I love everything but *shudder* Sci-Fi.

Do you want a career in writing?

Of course.

Who supports you the most in your writing?

I'm going to have to hand this one to my little sister. She will read everything from fifty-five thousand word novels to grocery lists!

Choose one of your books:

What is your book called?

The Unspoken Truth

What genre is it?

It's YA Mystery (NOT thriller)

What is it about (2/3 lines)?

It's about a girl who is the Head Editor for a newspaper company. The photographer ends up finding out about this person who is telling the stories wrong and it's up to him, her and the rest of the newspaper company to get to the bottom of it.

What inspired you to write it?

It's actually a funny story. My math teacher passed out the most recent issue of the school newspaper and the guy next to me was like, "I hate the newspaper." And so I was all like, "Why?" And then he was like, "Because they never tell the truth." Then, The Unspoken Truth was born.

How often do you update? When was it last updated?

I have only posted one chapter so far because I work on it all week and post every Friday. So the last time was today.

How long are your chapters? Do you think short or long chapters are better?

Usually mine range from 2-3 pages. Somewhere in between is best, not 5 pages per chapter but not one page either.

Are you proud of how well your book has done? Are you happy with the amount of reads it has?

As far as I'm concerned, mission accomplished.

Do you have any advice for new authors?

Keep going. There are going to be people who tell you your dream is unattainable or unrealistic. If you've got determination in your mind and passion in your heart, anything can happen.

This author has a very distinctive style of writing and her plots are imaginative and creative. She has a lot of potential and could get really far in writing!
