How did you discover Wattpad?
I discovered Wattpad actually through an article about writing websites, before I had been on fictionpress so I definitely saw this as a step up.

How long have you had Wattpad, and how often do you use it?

I've had it for about 7 months and I go on it about everyday whether its to write on my phone or to just see what other people are posting.

Is there a meaning behind your username?

Surprisingly yes, when I was first introduced to websites like club penguin I was probably about seven and obsessed with the movie Holes and xray was my favorite character while 1209 is my birthday.

Why did you start writing? What age did you discover your love for it?

I started writing because my friends really thought I was good and that was in the fourth grade. I kept doing it as a way to cope since I started losing friends in middle school. I didn't take it seriously until sophomore year of high school when I finished my first story using about five notebooks since I was grounded.

Who are you favourite authors? What are your favourite books? (Books on Wattpad count too!) What is your favourite genre?

My favorite author is by far Tim O'Brien he is just a beautiful writer. It's very to the point and I love that, its also about the characters which I think thats central to a story. As for favorite books I would have to go with The Things They carried, The Art of Acting(that's a wattpad book), Catcher in the Rye, and House of Leaves

Do you want a career in writing?

Yes, so much. I would probably die if I ever got on the best seller list or even published.

Who supports you the most in your writing?

Before she died my grandma did, she was always very supportive of me writing. The rest of my family is alright with it but they think I can make a real living doing that.

Choose one of your books:

What is your book called? What genre is it? What is it about (2/3 lines)?

The book is called Let Me Count the Ways its contemporary fiction. It's about this guy Darren whose girlfriend of four years breaks up with him to date his sister.

What inspired you to write it?

There was a mix of things that inspired this. I had watched this German foreign film that title translates into Breakup Man and the main characters commitment problems sort of stem from his girlfriend dating his sister after they broke up. The other creative elements came about when the Great Take Over started. I just wanted to do something so different and diverse. Something about people.

How often do you update? When was it last updated?

There's no schedule but I update about every few days. The last time I updated was the 1/18.

How long are your chapters? Do you think short or long chapters are better?

My chapters have been ranging from 2-5 pages, in my opinion as long as you aren't flooding your readers with too much detail or not giving them any your chapters can be any length. Sometimes the most impactful chapters are short.

Are you proud of how well your book has done? Are you happy with the amount of reads it has?

So far I'm really happy with how its doing, usually my stories don't reach 600 reads until they're finished but this isn't even halfway over and already its over 700 with 50 votes. So yes, I am very proud.

Do you have any advice for new authors?

READ, read everything, even the bad stuff. Sometimes you learn more when you read the bad stuff because its so obvious whats wrong when its harder to tell what makes a book so popular. Also watch some documentaries educate yourself on different cultures and struggles. There isn't just one kind of person there are many and everyone is different. Also use Microsoft word, it will help with your grammar and capitalizing those I's.

I really liked this writer's book. It has a great storyline, which is very creative and not at all cliche. I really enjoyed reading it and I recommend it to everyone!
