How did you discover Wattpad?

My best friend, who happens to also be the co-owner of this account, introduced me to Wattpad. I've been hooked ever since.

How long have you had Wattpad, and how often do you use it?

Uhh....a year or two, I guess. I honestly have a horrible memory, so my sense of time is weird.

Is there a meaning behind your username?

I am, sadly, not the genius who came up with it.

Why did you start writing? What age did you discover your love for it?

From the womb I was a writer; as a small kid I'd write novels about hippos eating pancakes and what not. I then took a fancy for poetry, and from there my love for teen fiction arose.

Who are you favourite authors? What are your favourite books? (Books on Wattpad count too!) What is your favourite genre?

There are so many authors...I honestly cannot name 'em, partly because of my screwed up recollection, and partly because of the fact you'd be reading this for days if I tried to list my favorites. I absolutely hate horror, or anything paranormal (unless it's Supernatural), so I'm always a sucker for Comedy/Teen Fic/Romance.

Do you want a career in writing?

I'd like writing to stay a hobby, but I want to excel in it. I don't suppose writing would be the best full-time profession for me--I'm aiming more for surgeon--but I would love to write a book.

Who supports you the most in your writing?

Obviously, my family and my closest friend, Sissy (co-owner of this account). I would not be able to do half the things I've done if it were not for them.

What is your book called? What genre is it? What is it about (2/3 lines)?

My book is called Betting My Heart, and it is Teen Fic/Romance/Comedy. It's about a teenager that agreed to write a novel in a year because of a boy's lie.

What inspired you to write it?

Obviously, my co-owner inspired me, but so did the Wattpad and real life books that I have come to love.

How often do you update? When was it last updated?

I kind of update weirdly...it's more on a I'll-update-when-I-feel-like-it basis, which I understand will anger a lot of people...

And I updated pretty recently, I think. I actually have a chapter in the works.

How long are your chapters? Do you think short or long chapters are better?

I prefer long chapters, so I always strive to write them.

Are you proud of how well your book has done? Are you happy with the amount of reads it has?

I learned at a young age to treat my writing like gold, and that is exactly what I've been doing. Honestly, I do wish I had more reads, but that's more because I haven't done anything promotion-wise.

Do you have any advice for new authors?

Have someone who'll keep you moving--someone to motivate you.

Also, learn to take criticism. Oh, and creativity is a must.

This author's book was well written with some great use of imagery and language that really created a picture of what was going on in your head. I found it quite comical, especially the beginning few chapters and the title names! The story also had a good plot. I recommend her!
