How did you discover Wattpad?

I discovered Wattpad by myself. I was looking for a site where I could write and voila! Here I am.

 

How long have you had Wattpad, and how often do you use it?

I've had Wattpad since the beginning of this summer, so about half a year.

 

Is there a meaning behind your username?

There isn't a real meaning behind my name but I really like the country more than cities so I guess that's the meaning.

 

Why did you start writing? What age did you discover your love for it?

I don't remember when I started writing but it was Warriors (by Erin Hunter) fan fiction. I would never finish my stories but I loved to create the fictional characters and their world.

 

Who are you favourite authors? What are your favourite books? (Books on Wattpad count too!) What is your favourite genre?

My favourite author is definitely Erin Hunter just because her series, Warriors, is my all time favourite.

My favourite genre to read and to write is teen fiction.

 

Do you want a career in writing?

Absolutely! I'm in a creative writing course right now in school and a writing club so I can be better. One day I'd love to publish a book.

 

Who supports you the most in your writing?

My friends are the most amazing critiques and advice givers. Whenever I have a question about how I should write something or if I need ideas I always ask them. It's really great to have these kind of friends, crazy yet so unbelievably caring. My sister also reads EVERYTHING I write, regardless of if I hate it or not. She never fails to point out a typo!

What is your book called? What genre is it? What is it about (2/3 lines)?

My book is called The Letter Impact. It's the 3rd book I've writen. It's teen fiction. It's about... Oh geez... It's about a girl who suffers depression and her struggle to heal herself.

 

What inspired you to write it?

I was inspired by a present my friend gave me, a box of letters. That gave it it's name and it's plot.

 

How often do you update? When was it last updated?

I try to update at least once a week but I don't have a real schedule. I last updated it yesterday

 

How long are your chapters? Do you think short or long chapters are better?

My chapters are on the short side but I think that it doesn't matter how long a chapter is. I always try to end it nicely and however long it is, I live with it.

 

Are you proud of how well your book has done? Are you happy with the amount of reads it has?

I'm extremely proud of all my books! Of course I want more reads but I'm very happy with all my amazing readers.

 

Do you have any advice for new authors?

My only advice is to keep writing. Don't feel discouraged if you don't get many reads, it comes over time.

I enjoyed reading this author's book, although it was somewhat different to what I would usually read. The characters were well presented, and weren't unrealistic. I recommend her to everyone!
