How did you discover Wattpad?

I actually discovered wattpad from a friend of my brother's when he was in high school, and I, junior high. She was writing a book on here and told me to check it out. I actually forgot what it was, but I still checked out this website.

How long have you had Wattpad, and how often do you use it?

I've been on Wattpad with multiple accounts since I was in the eight grade (I am now in the twelfth). I use Wattpad almost all the time. I even go on it during class, which I know that I shouldn't.

Is there a meaning behind your username?

There's no special meaning behind my name, besides the fact that I was listening to the trxye album when I decided to change it, and replaced the 'o's' of my first name with 'x's'.

Why did you start writing? What age did you discover your love for it?

I started writing as an outlet for my overactive imagination. When I was much younger I used to come up with little movies in my head, and sometimes I would end up reciting them aloud to myself. So, eventually I started to try and write them down. I discovered how much I love writing when I was fifteen and going through a lot of hard things, whereas writing became a sort of relief for me.

Who are you favourite authors? What are your favourite books? (Books on Wattpad count too!) What is your favourite genre?

My favorite authors would have to be Jennifer Lynn Barnes, and ALMcGurk here on Wattpad. My favorite book would more than likely have to be In 27 Days on Wattpad (I've read it a thousand times!). I don't really have a particular favorite genre. I really love to read just about anything.

Do you want a career in writing?

I've thought about it, but at this point in my life I have no idea what I want to do career wise.

Who supports you the most in your writing?

I don't particularly flaunt that I write in my spare time towards those around me, but I would have to say my best friend, as she is the only person I know who I've ranted and talked to about writing.

Choose one of your books:

What is your book called? What genre is it? What is it about (2/3 lines)?

My book is called "The Impossible Girl", though it is subject to change to "Frost Bite." It is a Werewolf novel, that is also Fantasy and Romance. It is about a young woman with the ability to do nearly impossible things, and thus participates in experiments where scientists wish to know how her body works and functions. After participating in an experiment gone wrong, she ends up frozen for 100 years, and awakens to a world where all the mythical creatures in stories are real. She meets Ivan, who is a werewolf and descendant of the man who froze her, and the two of them try to find answers as to why Gila was frozen and what the experiment did to her.

What inspired you to write it?

I actually don't quite know what inspired me to write it. I have always loved fantasy novels of all kinds. So, I wanted to write one, but I wanted it to be unlike anything I'd ever read before. This idea went through so many changes before I published it on wattpad, and still is. I just wanted it to be unique.

How often do you update? When was it last updated?

I tend to update 1-2 times during the weekends, and sometimes if I have the time, during the week. I believe it was last updated yesterday (though it could've been the day before).

How long are your chapters? Do you think short or long chapters are better?

My chapters tend to be around 2,000-3,000 words, and I try to make them as long as possible. I believe any chapter above 1,500 words is okay, but I prefer long chapters.

Are you proud of how well your book has done? Are you happy with the amount of reads it has?

Before I decided to delete all of the chapters to revise this book, I had just over 9k reads, and it made me so happy and surprised. I never expected for it to do so well, and even after I decided to revise it, I have readers supporting me, and I couldn't be happier. I am perfectly pleased with the amount of reads it has now. I honestly never expected for it to gather the attention it has. It may not be much compared to others, but it is a lot for me.

Do you have any advice for new authors?

My advice towards new authors is to not be discouraged if you book does not immediately gather any sort of attention, and to just enjoy writing your story.

This author's is obviously a perfectionist and it shows through her style of writing. I really like the character Gila in her book because, although I cannot relate to her, she is still a very human figure in the way that you could imagine meeting her. I think that the book is great and I recommen her!
