TONI POV:

"You've been in love with Cheryl since high school. You need to talk to her!" Sweet Pea tells me. We're outside of Pops, I haven't seen Cheryl in years and there she is, sitting there with Archie. "I can't." I whisper. "Come on!" He drags me inside and over to Cheryl. "Hello Cheryl." Sweet Pea says. I look away nervously. "Toni?" I shake my head and walk away.

"Toni." I look up at Cheryl. "Why did you follow me to the bathroom? Shouldn't you be making out with Archie or something?" I ask holding back tears. "No. He's with Veronica." I stand up. "What's wrong?" She ask quietly. "Nothing. You won't care anyways." I go to the door. "Maybe I will." I stop. "How about you come over to my house. I need to show you something that I should have told you years ago. I walk out of the bathroom.

"You did that for me?" Cheryl ask quietly. I showed her a video my mom made for prom. Sweet Pea and Jason were best friends, they came over here to get ready for prom and Cheryl's date didn't come so I got ready to take her but Archie got there by the time I was ready. I wasn't planning on going because Cheryl had a date and I wanted to take her. "Yeah." I whisper. She walks over to me. "Toni..." she looks at me and pulls me into a kiss. "Since high school."
