I sigh, as I sit on the Curtis' couch between Soda and Steve, and cross my arms.

"Can we do something?" I ask the guys "I'm bored"

"You're always bored" Steve says

"Well maybe if ya'll weren't such boring people-"

"Ok calm down kids." Darry says "And Steve you oughta know better then to pick a fight with Y/n, she always wins."

Steve rolls his eyes and go to the kitchen.

"Hey I got an idea" Says Dally "Let's play truth or dare"

"I'm down" I say

"Me too" Soda and Two-bit say together.

"I guess I'll play" Ponyboy says

"Count me out" Darry says

"Me too" Says Johnny

"C'mon guys, just have a little fun" I beg

After a bit of convincing, Darry and Johnny decide to play

"You wanna play truth or dare, Steve?" I call from the living room.

He comes running in and sits on the floor, a piece of chocolate cake in his hand.

"Yea" He mumbles with food in his mouth, he sits down across from me.

"Awesome, Since Dally suggested it he get to go first"

"Ok, uh Ponyboy truth or dare?"

"Truth"

"Ok, what's your opinion on a socs an' a grease dating?"

"Well... I don't reckon there's a problem with that." He says, Dally glares at him

Pony quickly moves on "Steve truth or dare"

"Dare"

I smile, of course he'd pick dare

"I dare you to.... Go out and kiss the girl you like"

"I don't like-"

"Ah shut your trap and quit lying" Soda says chuckling

He sighs

"Fine, but we gotta go to the DX"

"Couldn't you just go to her house?" I ask

"She ain't home"

"And you know for a fact shes at the DX?" Soda says and I chuckle

"She will be in a few minutes"

"Ok" We all say, we all head to the DX and when we get there no one's around

"Where is she?" The gang, including myself, starts asking

Steve walks up beside me and places his hands on my face, then leans in to where our faces are only a few inches away.

"You have no clue how long I've wanted to do this" He says

He leans in the rest of the way causing our lips to touch.

After a few seconds we pull away, and I smile.

"I like you, Y/n"

"Gee thanks, I like me too" I joke

"Oh way to kill the mood" Johnny says

I roll my eyes "I like you too Steve, but one question"

"Yesssss?" He says dragging out the S

"Why'd we have to come to the DX?" I giggle

"Well I didn't know you liked me so I was trying to stall"

"Hmm...." I hum "The guys knew didn't they?"

"Yea..." He trails off

I chuckle "Y'know, I'm glad you picked dare"

"I'm glad I picked dare too"
