I definitely like Mason Anderson. I reached home and I just couldn't stop smiling. I went up to my room and changed and freshened up. It feels nice to accept the feelings for once. Saying it out loud makes it more real.

I came down and saw my Dad sitting with The Andersons. Again.

I walked slowly. Their voices getting louder as I walked towards them.

"We are going to get him. We will have the evidence in some days." My Dad said.

"I hope he doesn't doubt you." Mr. Anderson replied. Who is this 'he'?

"No he doesn't. Two years ago I had made close contacts with Lauren Evans because the Evans and Hendersons have always been close. That was the time I came to know that Henderson used to smuggle drugs. He could do anything for power and money." What is my Dad saying.

"Oh, hey Derina." Mason's Mom said. I smiled to hide my shock and confusion.

"Hi Mrs. Anderson, Mr. Anderson. Morning Dad." I said and everyone smiled at me.

"Oh please call me Cassandra. Isn't Mason here?" His Mom asked.

"No," How did she know Mason and I met. "He dropped me home and left." I said.

"Bart, I need to leave now. Today's my daughter's death anniversary. We have to visit her." Mr. Anderson said. Shit. Mason.

That means that she was buried in Washington. Yeah right, Mason's grandmother stays here.

"Okay." They got up and did the hand shake thing. Cassandra walked towards me.

"You're a great girl, Derina. Mason keeps talking about you. He has been happy these last days. But he still hasn't visited his sister." She smiled. Mason talks about me to his Mom?

"He is a great guy too Cassandra." I said sincerely. They both left soon after.

"Dad what is going on between you and the Andersons?" I asked.

"Nothing Derina, it's just some business." He said.

"Don't lie Dad." I said."What about the Senator?" I asked and his eyes shot up from his phone.

"Derina I think you should solve your matters with Nathan." My Mom cut us off. I wanted to talk to Dad.

So I came up to my room and now I'm calling Nathan.

"Hey Thank God you called Derina. I'm so sorry for everything." He said.

"Calm down Nathan, breathe." I chuckled."It's not your mistake. Forget whatever happened and let's start fresh." I said.

"Yeah Kyra and I have decided to stay friends right now and take it slow this time." He said. "And as for you and me, I guess yeah I just feel all this because we've known each other forever and like our parents I thought we'll be together, but it's not like that and it's okay that it's not typical, family friends who have known each other for their whole lives atlast got married." He chuckled when his rant finished.

"Yes. Today's the match right?" I asked because I was not comfortable talking to him about us being together or him liking me. Loving me.

"Yeah, see you at the game then." He said.

"Yes all the best." I said and hung up.

Now I have to tell Mason to meet me before the game. How will I convince him!? I called him.
