Magnus awoke to the sound of a blood curdling screech.
It sent a shiver down his spine.
He saw that Alec wasn't next to him and panicked.
He shot out of bed, both angry and horrified.
His eyes gleamed bright yellow like a cats and he began to run.
"WHO DARE DISTURBS THE HIGH WARLOCK OF BROOKLYN?! SHOW YOURSELF! " he demanded.
Nothing.
He ran down the hal and what he saw made his heart shatter.
Alec was lying in a limp ball, bleeding heavily.
There was so much blood that it pooled around him.
Magnus fell to his knees beside Alec and burst into tears as he saw multiple thorn like things in his chest.
"Alexander! " he bawls gaping at Alec who was in and out of consciousness, he was white and blue in the face and he panted in agony as Magnus ran his hand over the wound.
"Hold on my sweet little peapod. Stay with me it will be over soon." Magnus smiled with tears spilling down his cheeks.
"This is going to hurt like hell, but it will save you. " Magnus says.
He flicks his hand over the thornes and used his magic to whip out the thornes.
Alec screams in agony, kicking his feet accidentally hitting Magnus.
He finally got them out and when he did he picked up Alecs limp body, and flicked his finger and made a portal appear.
He didn't hesitate, just stepped through and into the institute back in New York.

"Come on sweetie eat your peas! Mmmm nummy!" Clary coos at
Kennedy who refused to eat her food.
Simon from behind laughs.
Clary grumbled and glared at him.
"You think its so funny? Eat some. "
Simon went wide eyed.
"No!"
"Simon! Show Kennedy how good it is or ill get izzy in here!"
"Izzy? She cant do anything. Shes my girlfriend. " Simon said.
"Ill make her strap you down and force feed you last night's Suprise stew!"
Simon shrugged.
"Fine! I had stomach pains since.....even if there was blood in it.."
"Good, now here. " Clary smiles handing Simon the spoon full of the green stuff.
Simon smiled angrily and took it,
"Look Kennedy! Mmmm peas!" He smiled taking a bite.
Kennedy gazed at him smiling,
Although he smiled, he gagged through it.
"See?" Clary smiles spooning some.
She playfully brings the spoon to her lips but Kennedy slapped it out of her hand.
It went flying across the floor and splattered the green baby food over the floor.
"Kennedy!" Clary demanded.
Kennedy squealed and laughed while clapping her hands.
"Well...peas is out of the question...."
She rummaged through the cupboard to find a jar of something that looked distinctly like apple sauce,
She retrieved the jar and saw that it was pears.
"Look Kennedy! Do you want some pears?" Clary cooed opening the jar and sitting down in front of the highchair.
Kennedy squealed in happiness, flailing her arm and legs.
She brought some to her mouth and Kennedy Suprisingly ate it.
"I think we have a winner.." Simon laughed.
When she finished Clary cleaned her and the highchair up.
She than gave Kennedy her pacifier and they walked out of the kitchen and into the hall.
As the walked, Kennedy squealed.
"MAMA!" She cried happily.
"No, darling Mama and dada are..."
Simon saw Magnus standing there holding Alec who looked dead in his arms.
"Help me." He squeaks.
