i had a small lie-in but eventually got woken up by my mum hoovering and my birds chirping away

my birds are doing well, i change their water every few days, their tray at the bottom of the cage every two weeks and their food whenever it runs out. they sleep when it gets dark and wake up when it's light. even if the blinds not up they somehow know it's daytime and will sing away
my ear defenders do a great job and make it manageable to fall back to sleep but you can still hear them slightly. romero is obsessed with fucking rosemary and she doesn't seem to like it... romero seems a much healthier size than when i first got him

anyway jake messaged me saying he's free and so we went out to play football. i recorded us trying to shoot from far out which wasn't too good as we are both absolutely shite
we weren't out for long as i had my football team playing so i got back home before the match started

jake said he's free next sunday and my team in london is playing then. i looked online for tickets not expecting anything but magically there were two together and it's against a rival team too. so i booked it in the spur of the moment and then the train tickets too. it's gonna be a day thing so out at 6am and back for 8pm but definitely worth it to see my football team again. no parents this time too!

speaking of becoming more adult, i booked my driving test finally for sometime in july. i've been holding it off for a while because i wanted to get rid of these serious marks i'm getting in my mock tests before i take the real thing. plus failing my theory test twice didn't help at all
because the waiting times are so long, if i fail the test in july it'll be another few months until i can take it again holding me back even further. i can probably afford a car too but there'd be nowhere to park it on my street so i'd have to leave it at my grandmas or find a place locally to park it

anyway i have a driving lesson tomorrow, then on tuesday after work me and jake are going to a local city to see another football game
