yesterday i met jake, walked around for a while and even bought some stuff from a local shop
i got a bag crisps and bacon sandwiches. though i didn't want a meal deal which would of needed me to get a drink to make the price overall cheaper
i just think meal deals are for people who are less fortunate.. why should i be so bothered about paying less for something. jake was saying that i'm stupid

i worked later on that night too. i was very rushed around even giving people the wrong food items and condiments
that nice american irish lady came in again, the one who gave me advice on the curries. i gave her the wrong pizza so another had to be made..

there's new stuff coming in the menu at work too. i'm not sure if it's confidential or not but there's stuff like american burgers and new types of curries coming in

last night melanie, the uncle brian who passed aways daughter called my grandma to see who wanted to come inside the funeral car
it's normally only immediate family that go in the funeral car, so i guess me and my mum are lucky seeming as we are cousin/nephew
as far as i know it'll be melanie, my grandparents, me and my mum, ruby (brian's sister, grandads brother) and i believe that's it so far?
not really the way i wanted to meet my auntie that moved to america for the first time in the back of a funeral car.. but oh well

last night i messaged my manager rob saying that i can't work the day of the funeral. once i'd finished my shift he sent me a message back saying to tell the manager that was on shift. so i told her and then she told me to message the pub manager. but i didn't have her number
so once i got home i messaged rob for it and he never replied
so today i called up while the pub manager was on shift to ask for the day off
she seemed reluctant and had to go as customers needed to be served so she said that she'd ring me back.. but she never did
luckily she has just changed my rota for that day off now
it would've been pathetic to argue over me not going to a family members funeral. me and my mum were saying that they'd probably not let me go because it's not immediate family. but i suppose if i'm in the funeral car then idk

i have two days free now

goodnight
