Another week went by and today Elara is getting a scan to finally find out the gender of the baby. Zarkon and Allegra would be accompanying her of course.
At the moment Zarkon was holding Allegra in one arm and holding Elara's hand in his other hand whil Elara laid down on the bed as Ulaz readied to scan her.
"Are you both certain you wish to find out the gender now?" Ulaz asked.
"Yes we are." Elara said.
"We prefer knowing now so the nursery is prepared in time." Zarkon said.
"Very well. Now let's see what the kit is." Ulaz said and he scanned her bump.
After a few moments the scanner stopped one he found the baby.
"Well?" Both Zarkon and Elara asked anxiously.
"Congratulations. It's a boy." Ulaz said with a small smile.
"You're getting a little brother!" Elara cooed at her daughter who started bawling in Zarkon's arms.
"Oh-" Ulaz mumbled in shock.
"She'll be fine." Zarkon said, not really knowing if he believed himself.
After the scan. The little family celebrated after Allegra settled down.
