"Stop it!" I giggle running away from Rafe as he's chasing me laughing, he caught me and tackled me to the ground and we both fell in fits of laughter. He lands on top of me chuckling and I stare at him in awe.
"What?" Rafe says while smirking at me, I nervously smile "I love you" I confess after all these years. Rafe widens his eyes "I thought we were just friends?" Rafe says and I feel a tear slip out of my eye.
I now sit on the cold floor the empty bottle of pills laying on the floor. I couldn't take it anymore, I wanted the pain to stop, I wanted to be free. "OPEN THE DOOR Y/N!" I hear Rafe yell 5 minutes later. The door crashed open and he looks around trying to spot me but freezes when he sees my lifeless body on the floor.
He runs up to my body and lays me on his lap stroking my hair sobbing "please don't leave angel I love you. I really do." He says waiting for me to wake up, but I don't. "I can't live without you" he says feeling a ping of guilt and regret in his chest. Rafe is now stuck with this question in his head for the rest of his life.
Why didn't I just say I love you back?
