-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It had always watched from afar the evolution of events, standing in a corner of a room, gliding in the air as the battles were raging but not once did it open its heart and tell what it wanted.

The Cloak was a good friend, listening to its master's complaints, struggles and heartbreaks but never had it express the will to say something. It only comforted its precious master with gentle stroke in the cheeks, even if he pretended he hates it or being simply next to him while tears fell down his cheeks.

Stephen knew the Cloak has a mind on its own, perhaps even feelings, however, he never thought your arrival would change his life so much.

Let's focus on the day you met Doctor Strange. It was a dull day, you had read every possible book about magic, harnessed thousand of spells and you needed a challenge. Perhaps find a relic would help so, you headed to the Sanctum, where the relics of the past remained in a very specific room.

You knocked on the wooden door.

« Is there someone ? » you wondered, knocking a second time.

Then the door opened revealing a scene you didn't expect. When a door opened, you 're supposed to see the owner of the place, a human behind the door not.... a living Cloak.

The moment your eyes set upon the levitating crimson cloak, you froze. Your breath got stuck in your threat as this Halloween-like scene brought back dreadful memories. You blinked a few times while the item stood in the entrance, its collar dangling on one side. Silence lingered in the air while you processed this strange encounter.

« A cloak ? » you asked, out loud, confused on what was going on, « Is the Sorcerer Supreme a cloak? »

The relic slowly leaned forward, its collar inches from your face while you stood on your spot, mesmerised by this moving cape. The bright red colour was glistening at the sun rays while its silver range brought out the crimson shade of the material.  it was a magnificent relic. You were awestruck and a sudden urge made you raise your hand up and touched the silk tissue.

Out of nowhere, a voice boomed in the mansion :

«Cloak? Where are you? »

Your gaze detached itself from the relic and set upon the unknown deep voice until a figure emerged from the darkness. He was wearing a blue outfit, tight enough to show his muscular body with brown boots. A peculiar necklace dangled on his chest, a green aura emanating from the jewel. Breathtaking blue eyes locked with yours and you raised an eyebrow at the stranger.

However, you didn't have any more time to observe him as the Cloak's collar grabbed your cheek and turned your face towards it before leaning forward and wrapped its hems around your body. You were so astonished you didn't dare to move while Stephen facepalmed at the cuddly item he had.

« Cloak, let the woman go. »

The Cloak only tightened its grip on you and you stated :

« It's okay. I'm Y/N, by the way, you must be the Sorcerer Supreme. »
