Your eyes were glued to the sky, this myriad of blue shade which attracted you since you were a child. This Navy blue firmament intertwined in thousands little sparks reflected the countless infinity of the world that you hoped, one day, you'll be able to see. Work with the Sorcerer Supreme was probably the best way to reach this dream: To fly and touch the sky. Sitting on the roof of the sanctum, your gaze landed on a figure which was observing you from beneath. You narrowed your eyes and noticed the soft lap of a clothes waving behind the back of its owner. A smile flashed your face and you muttered: " Stephen." You didn't have to say anything for him to levitate and to sit next to you. He gracefully landed next to you, crossing his legs together and remaining silent. You closed your eyes and let the wind stroked your cheeks, as if it was softly rolling on your skin, leaving a trail of icy touches. You hummed in delight and held your knees closer to your body. Suddenly Stephen broke the silence:

" What are you doing here, Y/N?"

" Observing the sky and wishing to be a bird".

You pouted, putting your chin on your arms which were surrounding you knees. You sighed, not wanting to look at your friend who would probably, you assumed, laugh at you and your childish desires. However, when a person doesn't know it is impossible to do it, he does it nonetheless and asked the right questions.

" At least, watch out the fall. Why do you want so badly to fly?"

You roe your head up, locking eyes with him. The passion of flying had clutched you in a tight embrace since the day you had jumped from a cliff to get into the water. The feeling of freedom, wilderness and boldness had invaded you and touched you in your essence, in your soul and your heart, as the arrow of Cupid. The sky was your home, your lover and your unreachable dream. You wished so much to have wings to be able to push up and glide in the sky. You wished you were not an eagle, spreading its wings above the clouds, watching the world from heavens. To control your fall was your deepest desire, even if couldn't fly like a raptor, you could at least met this awareness, this perception of gravity losing its claws, its talons.

" I love the way my skin is touched by the wind, how the laws of nature fade away in one jump, how my body felt when bounced in the air and time seems to stop to catch this pure moment of freedom. "

You faced him completely, getting up and watching the oblivion sky.

" This is not a fancy of a little girl who just want to feel adrenaline run through her veins, this is a unique instant. Each jump felt different and at the same time so alike. This is a flash of oxygen, a vital breath. This is like a swan dive. Just like that".

You turned to Stephen, your back facing the void and smiled at him. You knew you were not going to hurt yourself so you let yourself fall from the roof, your arms spread out, a huge smile plastered on your face. Stephen's face changed from unruffled, sweet to confused and shock. He tried to rush to your side but it was too late. Gravity had already embraced you and the wind wrapped around you like a cocoon. Then the soft sound of the hay tickled your side and you opened your eyes. You saw the face of Stephen who was looking at you, anger and relief spread on his features.

" Never do that ever again! You nearly gave me a heart attack!"

You chuckled lightly and nodded, pieces of hays entangled in your hair. You snapped at him, feeling a warm presence invaded your belly.

" Come on, I wouldn't put myself in danger voluntarily, you know that Stephen."

You got up and opened a portal to join him back on the roof.

" Here you go" you said, taking him in a hug. You snaked your arms around his neck, holding him tight against you in an attempt to reassure him. You noticed his unsteady breath and draw pattern on his back, or rather the cloak which almost purred. It wasn't a panic attack but you had definitely scared him. His frail arms wrapped around your waist, his face buried in your neck, you felt his tensed body relaxed under your touch. You stayed like that for a while, until he felt better. He slowly let you go, unwrapping his hands out of your form and looked at you in the eyes. His sparkling blue eyes connected with yours, like two diaphanous azure pools watching into your soul. You felt your cheeks reddened and you asked:

" Are you okay?"

He nodded calmly, not detaching his gaze from yours. Your heartbeat quickened and you removed your hands from his neck, putting some distance between your bodies.

" Yes. Thank you,Y/N. "

He cleared his throat, catching your attention. He smirked at you and you tilted your head to the side, wondering at what idea had popped in his mind. He was so surprising sometimes.

" What?" you wondered.

His smirk widened and he remained silent. He put his hands back on your waist, holding you in an iron grip against him.

" Close your eyes." he said mysteriously.

You did as he told, trusting him with all your heart. You felt his grip tightened against your body and he put your hands around his neck.

" Hold on", he said and suddenly, floor vanished under your feet, his grip held you tightly against him and you gasped at the feeling, recognising it instantly. Then, Stephen announced:

" You can open your eyes, now."

Your eyelid fluttered and you let the landscape meet your eyes. Your mouth fell open, watching in awe the wild scenery spread under your gaze. You turned your head in everywhere to see the most of it and yo felt Stephen's chest chuckled.

" Oh my God, Stephen. It's amazing! And We...we're flying!"

He smiled warmly at you and leant on, watching your face the whole time. Inches apart, you closed the distance between the two of you and kissed him. The kiss was slow and tender, enjoying each other warmth until he licked your lips for permission. You granted it and a battle of dominance began. You tightened your arms around Stephen's neck, bringing him closer to you. When you broke apart for air, you looked at each other, noticing a soft blush on Stephen's cheeks. He was looking at you with love, his eyes full of tenderness and you pecked his lips again. You also realised that that night two dreams had bloomed: fly and love.

A/N: So what did you think? Not too fluffy?
