----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You just finished your exhausting day of work as a teacher when the soft ringing of your phone echoed in the air. You quickly grabbed it from your pocket in your jeans and answered:

" Hello?"

You listened for an answerback, still walking to your home. It was a long way to reach your beloved cosy house, almost an hour of walking through the city, the forest, and then the viaduct. You waited for an answer but there were only silence and a weird buzzing noise. You waited few more seconds before hanging up the phone.

" It's the second time an unknown person called me and when I picked up, there is no one at the end of the line. That's weird".

Then I shrugged and hold my coat closer to me. It was freezing tonight.

You walked through the city and forest rapidly, not wanting to wander to long when the sun has almost reached its dusk. You reached the edge of the viaduct, contemplating its architectural structure. It was so beautiful and impressive at the same noise. You felt so tiny compared to the monument. You noticed you were completely alone in this gigantic place and a smile reached your lips. You liked to be alone with the nature blooming at your side. You sighed and saw an ivory smoke escaped from your lips disappeared in the atmosphere. You chuckled at this sight and started walking again on the endless corridor of the viaduct. You were walking at a steady pace, lost in your thoughts about what you were going to eat tonight when a rush of wind stroked your face. You turned your face towards the wild landscape of the countryside. Valleys of emerald plains met your eyes with the last sunrise of the twilight. You took your phone and took a picture of the delightful set you were facing. Then you checked your photo and smiled. You put it back in your pocket and turned to keep on your walk, however, you stopped in your tracks when you saw two men suddenly appeared in the middle of the road on the viaduct. " How the hell did they get in here? There was no one before!" You thought while your observed the two strangers. One was wearing heavy make up around dark eyes and a strange outfit. He was whispering words, eyes closed in a language you didn't understand. The other one, seemed more accessible with his sparkling blue eyes, his long red cloak and the dark blue tunic which emphasised every inch of his body. A big " necklace" was waving around his neck, a green light glowing slowly. You gasped when the first man invoked a strange blade and attacked the man with the cloak. You watched with a mix of awe and fascination the dance of two enemies fought in the middle of the viaduct. You stepped back gradually when the two opponents came dangerously close to you. They seemed to have not noticed your presence. That was until you screamed when something invisible almost hit your shoulder. They both simultaneously stopped and turned their heads towards you. The three of you were motionless for a moment while the wind was gently stroking your skin, leaving an icy mark on your lips. Your heart was beating as if it was going to gallop out of your chest and you squeezed your bag tighter against you. You were afraid of these men, in particularly the one who made appear the strange weapon. The man with the cloak stammered with surprise:

" How can you see us?"

Then he faced his opponent, asking:

" She 's not supposed to see us in the Mirror Dimension, right Kaecilius?"

The latter smirked and with a twist of his wrist created a new transparent weapon. You stepped back again when you noticed his glaze stuck upon you as a dark deadly promise. Then you saw him threw fiercely his blade towards you. Fear invaded your veins and instinct dictated your moves. You rose your hand towards the weapon and wished for it to stop. You pondered it, you whispered it, you yelled it. The blade stopped at one inch of your palm and fell on the ground in a crystallised sound. Your breath was erratic and you felt quite tired. The man with the cape attacked his foe who dodged it before creating a blazing portal and quickly disappearing in it. You watched the last opponent stood up and stroked his red cloak as a nice pet and you jumped a little when you see it moved. He turned to you and came closer. Immediately, you said;

"Stay away from me!"

He raised his hands up in defeat:

" Okay, easy Miss... What is your name?"

You looked at him for a moment, hesitating to tell your name or not to a stranger. You notice a wound bleeding on his cheekbone and you thought it must sting a little.

" I'm Y/N. Who are you?"

He made one step closer and you groaned at him.

" My name is Stephen Strange. I 'm not going to hurt you, so please calm down."

" Why would I trust you Mister Strange? I've just seen you fought with someone!"

He hissed when you called him " Mister Strange " and corrected you harshly:

" It's Doctor Strange, Doctor Stephen Strange, not mister. And the man I fought wanted to destroy the world by summoning an entity called Dormammu. If I hadn't stopped him, you would be dead."

He started to walk back and forth, mumbling muffled sounds:

" How did you get here?"

You raised your head up and stared at him, full of confidence you didn't know you own.

" It's my path to get home. Now, if you'll excuse me, it's rather cold and I would like to go home peacefully. Good bye, Doctor Strange."

You stepped aside to avoid him and walked quickly but he immediately grabbed your arm, staring at you with a sparkling glimmer in his blue eyes.

" I can't let you go. You were not supposed to see any of this but now you are involved in something bigger than your cosy life."

Without expecting a response, Doctor Strange rose his hand and conjured a similar blazing portal and went through it, still holding your arm. You closed your eyes, ready to feel yourself tear apart or pain sprung from somewhere. You slowly opened your eyes to find a smirking Doctor Strange who said:

" Welcome to Kamar-Taj, Y/N."

So, what did you think? Do you want a part two?
