The sun rays set down on your eyelids until your eyes fluttered, waking up. You groaned, not wanting to get up and just lay there lazily, especially when you felt the familiar pain in your lower belly burnt you.

« Great, what a better way to start the day, » you thought, getting up gently and rubbing your stomack to ease the pain. You changed into really comfy dark clothes and get to the dining room for breakfast.

Stephen was already there, fully clothed and awake, and he smiled at your approach.

« Good morning, darling. »

You were not dating... yet but he loved to give you sweet nicknames and it often warmed your heart but today, you were absolutely not in the mood. Of course, he noticed.

« Someone is not awake this morning, Shall I woke Sleeping Beauty up with a kiss? »

You groaned and opened the fridge violently, took the orange juice and then grabbed some coffee. You drank the whole glass under the glowing eyes of Stephen.

« He's preparing something up », you pondered, trying to ignore the growing pain in your abdomen. You thought it was going to pass, but it had only worsened. 

You hissed at Stephen when he slapped your back playfully, shouting :

« Let's go training, I'm going to beat you up today »

You growled in response and moved away from him, doing little step by little step. This behaviour didn't go unnoticed by our dear doctor who frowned and thought for a while but he was distracted by a sudden noise coming next to your form. A blazing portal appeared just next to you and some minions of your enemy stepped in with Kaecilius just behind, smirking like a mad man. Stephen wanted to help but he actually didn't have the time to do anything.

At the moment, enemies stepped in, anger overwhelmed you. You were already quite irritable because of your period but all you wanted was some calm, and peace.

« But no, Kaecilius has to ruin the day ! » you thought, clutching your fists.

You sent death glares to the minions who stepped back in fear and Kaecilius laughed until he saw your eyes. Your burning eyes killing him on the ground and he realised that maybe it wasn't a good day to invade his enemy's territory. You said in the coldest tone Stephen had ever heard :

« If you don't go in three seconds, you are going to suffer the pain I have to bear every month ! » shouting the end.

Immediately, the minions ran away in fear, colliding into each other in the process while Kaecilius blinked. Then he looked at Stephen, frozen.

« Three. » you warned.

The traitor looked at you again.

« She's all yours, Strange ! » he yelled before disappearing in the portal.

Finally, silence lingered while Wong and Mordo stood at the end of the corridor, having seen the whole scene.

Mordo muttered :

« She's scary. »

« Terrifying. She scared away Kaecilius with one look. That's a record. » stated Wong.

Stephen slowly approached you, who was motionless. He faced you and saw your conflicting face and gently hugged you.

« I'm sorry, I didn't know you were in that time of the month. How about ice cream as an apology? He offered, looking at you with his dewy eyes.

You lost yourself in his two deep blue pools until you found your voice back.

« It's acceptable. For a doctor, you're quite blind, Stephen. Everybody understood except you. » you laughed.

« And I let you wear the cloak as long as you in pain » he added, winking at you.

You smiled like the Cheshire grin.

« Deal. »

You both separated ways while you went back to your room, putting the TV on under heavy blankets with the cloak hugging your body while Stephen grabbed some ice cream: your favourite: Ben& Jerries, cookie dough.

Perhaps, it wasn't that bad to be in pain if you could have more time with the man you loved.
